A Union of Hands

a union of hands resemble, ribbons entwined soft white cotton sheets, still shadow our outline invited to fall or fly for surrenders design gifts of faded silver and rings of gold beg for the blind a season brings forth death in winters prime life lines tangles my heart, even destiny can't find defeated sings strong, where do our hearts stand the light of truth takes command, dividing our hands refusing your suffrage, my tears are a mirror put away until the reflection is clear isolation stalks my dreams, where you still reach for me just another call in the dark bottomless sea my heart still shines to desire hope, for the last true believer's survivor and forever it burns my face bright, to gaze in their fire light no more soft whisper's or deafening demands this careless reminisce flows over fingers like sand and still I lie, not to love him again my Love lies, there in his hands Terry D’Arcy-Ryan
