A stubborn heart, A loving soul
I fell for a girl, with a heart so bold,
Stubborn and strong-willed, with a spirit to mold.
She'd argue and debate, with a passion so bright,
And though she'd drive me crazy, I'd love her with all my might.
Her eyes would flash fire, when she'd disagree,
And her words would cut sharp, like a knife to me.
But beneath her tough exterior, I'd see a heart of gold,
A loving soul, that was worth more than all the riches to hold.
I'd chase her, and she'd run, with a smile so wide,
And though she'd test my patience, I'd be by her side.
For I knew that beneath her stubbornness, lay a heart that was true,
A heart that beat for me, and a love that shone right through.
So I'll love this stubborn girl, with all of my heart,
And though she'll drive me crazy, we'll never be apart.
For I know that our love, is strong and pure and bright,
And with her by my side, everything's just right.
