A Song From Yesterday
A song from yesterday, through all the many decades I will say. A favorite how do I pick just one, so many to love and to choose from. As a child it had to be "Happy Birthday," with friends, presents and cake for my special day. As a teen at school we went off campus for lunch, the jukebox would play "My Girl." I sang along loud and proud, changing the loving words to "My Guy." For church it is "Blessed Assurance," for Jesus is mine. Music and songs through the decades, how some change and some remain the same. A song from yesterday, through all the many years. A favorite how do I pick just one, so many to love and to choose from. Decisions-decisions, where did all the songs come from.
