A Silent Prayer
I was talking to a friend
just the other day
I'd ask her how she was doing
Was everything in her life ok?
She started to tell me about
the trouble she had
All I could do was say
a Silent Prayer
She was telling me about
her money problems
and the sickness she had
been through
All I could do was listen
and say a Silent Prayer
I wanted to tell her about
my problems to
But after listening to her,
my heart had been renewed
Sometimes when I listen
to other people troubles,
That's when I realize
I don't have any worries
Oftentimes our friends can be
a guiding light
If we just listen and silently pray
Asking GOD to make everything
in our lives alright
