A Mothers Silent Tears

Overwhelmed with sadness Emotions raw and rife Tears for the past Tears for future life Tears flow in abundance Changes lie ahead Thinking with my heart Not my sensible mum mind instead Positive changes Changes nevertheless I cry silent tears Conceal my personal sadness We raise our children Set them free Miss them always Left proud….but empty!

Oh Deb, yes, I know those tears, I suppose most parents do. Our sweet babies grow up before we know it and fly away! Sometimes they don't know, as they cuddle their own babies when that phase occurs, the scenes playing in our hearts of their own infant days in their own mama's arms. Or the brave soldier, heading out for the sake of freedom. Again we stroke the chubby soft baby cheeks within our minds eye. That was my dear godson. I cried a week when he enlisted, and now just remembering! :'( <3

I cherish the memories of the days when my children were youngsters. It takes a lot of getting used to when they leave to pursue their own lives. Mothers will always be Mums to their children, whatever age they are. Another good one, Deb. XX

He’s been flown a while Tom but our children do and live where they choose…. as it should be! ….not where we want them to be! Its all good and positive….just a mum missing her grown child and having a silent cry Ha! Thanks ….Debx

My mum felt like this when I left got university...so I came home evey weekend..then she felt sad when I moved our, so I make sure I see her at least once a week..as a parent I cab feel your pain..

As a mother i can empathize with you really dear deb, especially when we have an only child, the changes that come with them growing up etc can be overwhelming for us, it surely does affect me a little more some nights too. And i know this feeling so well, the unknown ahead and the past all can sometimes be too much. You are not alone and its always good to sometimes cry, tears can be cleansing. And end of the year, we sometimes go through mixed emotions. Sending you light. Stay strong.

Thankyou Sweet Ink….we all have our moments….life is not always easy or free sailing! I felt really emotional tonight let it out in tears and feel better and “cleansed” now! You are right re the only child! Parenting can be hard at times!! Thankyou oh sweet wise one!! You make me smile! Debxx
