Once in a blue moon, words do fail me But my pen never does. It's my silent voice. A pen never betrays a poet! In mine, I'll always put all my love and trust The mighty pen, always eager to bruise paper Ink flowing freely like the blood in my veins To be able to wondrously weave a tapestry of emotions and images to touch, to move, to captivate... with the mere stroke of... our faithful pen is a treat to behold. Poets have a gift; a liberating gift! Date written: 09/14/2019
