A Hundred and Three

What are you going to do with me when the heavens start cleaning the street? What are you going to do with me when passion start running down your feet and night owls start flooding the skies, are you going to sit down and cry? There is a strange wind moving across the earth it rustles the leaves in the trees and leaves the branches swaying in the breeze; it is hard to describe what is transpiring in a distance but a subtle spirit is moving over the horizon with a force that is mightier than the sea, and when it touches down it will make the universe groan and fire will rise up from the earth and water will burst from the heavens and cool the temperature down. What are you going to do with me when you are done with me ?are you going to toss me in the sea or should I make another decree, my words will stand and upon this promise the space ship will land. What are you going to do with me when you sign the final decree are you going to send me to the jungle to feast off wild berries and make music with , tiger bears and lions? Take me to the top of the mountain and gaze at the solitude in the middle of the sky and hold a minutes silence for all those that died. What are you going to do with me when you strike the set and I am holding on to my last breath, will you sign the decree for me to complete my destiny? A hundred and three years have passed since they came out of the dark it was that very spot they wed and the very next day the couple end up dead, the inscription is on the wall and the evidence is in the cave; a hundred and three years have passed but hope lives on and I am holding the promise in my hand.
