A Broken Wing
A gentle soul with a broken wing
Life’s toil and troubles have taught his heart to sing
Life sometimes feeling like it’s passing him by
A single tear shimmers in his eye
A lost soul feeling out of control
Wanting to regain his life and make it whole
Always feeling low and in doubt
Wondering what life is really all about
Wanting to be an eagle and soaring high
Not wanting to feel weak and wanting to cry
So look to the skies my dear friend
Troubles soon will be at an end
Life is not passing you by
Even when you keep wondering why
Open your eyes and see
You are the eagle soaring free
No more broken wing
Now your heart can sing
Life is there waiting just for you
All bright shiny and new
