A Painting

A PAINTING. Creating and recreating Shapes of desire A cunning way to rest My tired brain, painting Coloured to aspire A curve to be hugged A corner to be embraced. Murmuring song of Past remembrance Mind ravaged in situ. Energising the hand To ask for spirit’s favour Setting up an arrangement To trap myself aflame Within a creative frame.
