136 Word Sway

If I should live 'til one-thirty-six what fun might I have... how would I get my kicks? I'd start with a dance swaying in my wheelchair with that lovely young lad whom I kissed on a dare! His eyes... oh, how playful still youthful and bright and the kiss that we shared was a savory delight! When the music begins (even if we can’t hear it) we'll transcend earthly ties and be free from all care... The angels will ferry us far from the crowd as we climb to the heavens and waltz on a cloud! From this blissful state I would never come down leaving earth with a grin no hint of a frown ; ) If given a choice out of all of my picks I would whirl ‘til the curtains dropped at one-thirty-six. 8/30/19 Contest: One Hundred and Thirty Six Words Sponsored by: John lawless

Very positive. Thank you. Things can happen to our bodies that prevent us from ever dancing. So what? Your soul can dance, if you allow it to. One has to look UP not down. Most won’t even make it to 80! Ask your Creator to live as long as He wants you to. Heaven is about being assigned a special job by God.in which case, ecxceeds our love for dancing. Thanks. This was a silly one in content and sloppy in rhythm, but I did at least meet the contest requirement of 136 words. Lol. Trust me, though, I have lived through some major physical setbacks, but my dream (my heaven) will always be dancing, even singing, though I can hardly do either at this time. Lol.

Hi there Hello There. : ) This was fun but to think about living to that age...I know I won't make it that far and if I did, to still be able to dance, wheelchair or not...don't think so. I can hardly dance now. : ) Best wishes in the contest

LOL. This was meant for fun only ~ hehehe. Even still, a dance may not always appear as such to the outside world, but to the dancer(s)... well, it can be so much more! I think I will share what I mean in a poem I wrote.
