The Twins

A long time ago people lived much more simply and believed in what they could not see. Back in this time Unicorns walked fearlessly among us and fairies were not hidden from human sight.

Glens rang with the sound of bells as the fairies tended to the plants and trees and pixies played tricks on all. During this age a boy was born along with his twin sister and it became apparent that they were different.

A coin with two sides or faces that appeared the same yet were utterly different. Flora attracted all that was was bright and good where as Chaos drew all that was gloomy which filled him with darkness.

Birds and animals flocked to Flora and spent hours with her enjoying her sunny company. On the other hand they shunned Chaos sensing his dark spirit and fled on his approach. This drove Chaos to the brink of insanity and he turned away to the dark arts.

Soon both unicorns and faeries vanished from sight and silence fell over the land. Flora was very sad and missed them but knew it was safer for them. She tried to turn Chaos back to the light but she could feel her own spirit being over come so she broke away. Once she had forsaken Chaos the two worlds split apart.

Those who were kind of heart and soul lived with the Unicorns and the Fairies and enjoyed happiness yet a veil remained between the two worlds. Chaos's world grew darker and darker and monsters were set loose to haunt our dreams.

Now a great divide splits one from the other. Flora's world is still with us although hidden from most human eyes only a few who really believe can traverse the veil. For most we are stuck in Chaos's gloomy world.
