The Mysterious Pregnancy

Gina stared at the doctor. Her mind churned in confusion. How could she…be pregnant. She didn’t have a boyfriend. She had never dated that she could recall. She lived on her own in a small flat.

But the doctor had confirmed through an x-ray that she in fact was pregnant and she had seen the outline of the baby as well with her own two eyes.

But how could this have happened thought Gina as she lay curled up in bed in a total state of shock. She had cried a bucket full of tears earlier and then figured out there was no point in crying.

What was done was done. What had happened had happened. And now Gina just had to deal with this pregnancy the best that she could. She would go to all of the parenting classes and make use of pregnancy books and brochures. Talking to other mothers who had gone through the birthing process might be helpful as well thought Gina to herself.

Gina didn’t wasn’t even certain how far along she was in the pregnancy. She had no clue which month she would be giving birth in. Two months had past since Gina found out she was pregnant. She had started slowly buying baby items for her flat. She didn’t want to be unprepared for when the baby was born. She wanted to be fully prepared for the arrival of the baby and she wanted to have everything in stock. For she knew when the baby arrived she would be a lot more tired all of the time. Several months had now passed. One early spring morning Gina awoke to her back killing her. She knew she was in labour. Somehow Gina was able to drive herself to the hospital. She gave birth to a healthy baby girl she named Joy. She was kept in hospital with Joy for a week before finally being released and being able to take Joy home. As she took care of Joy each and every day Gina kept wondering how she could have gotten pregnant and given birth to a baby girl. Then one day it hit her. she remembered how late one night she had, had a dream about being abducted by aliens and having sex with an alien. She relized her abduction by aliens had actually happened and that baby Joy was a result of her alien abduction. That meant that Gina’s baby girl Joy was half human and half alien.

The End.
