Some Lessons From Innocence

Corina is still an adorable darling and her birthday is coming up soon. It's on May 31 and she ready to be part of a joyful event. This is the first year in school and she knows how to count up to a hundred.

Corina is a quick learner and she can spell her name correctly. She took her first music lesson, Mrs. Gobbleson was the pianist and with her hand movements, she corrects her if she sings out of tune. I guess singing in the key of C is the easiest for any child experimenting with music.

The concert will take place before Graduation Day and all mothers are encouraged to attend to support their kids. They may not be another Dolly Parton, but they'll surely lift some eyebrows for their incredible talent.

" Mary had a Little Lamb " was an exquisite performance and Mrs. Gobbleson gave Corina some jubilant applause, " Bravo, you are ready to be a star! " She kneeled gallantly and smiled, so happy to have succeeded in her quest and couldn't wait to tell her mom how well the audition went.

I heard the news of her audition and suggested that Corina borrowed my Yamaha piano to practice her singing, even though she would only sing. She agreed and played that song as many times as she could. No sheet music was needed as she memorized every note on the keyboard.

I wished her success and crossed my fingers knowing that she was able to pull through and win the song competition, but I stressed that she kept on singing those lyrics and put more passion into it. No smile was more radiant than hers approving my suggestion.
