Kevin and the Tiger

In the local city zoo out in Toronto their lived a tiger named Trevor. He lived with his female mate Tania. They like to rumble around the cage that they were held captive in.

Well one day a young boy named Kevin decided to take a trip to the zoo on a boiling hot August day. With his mother the first thing he checked out was the acrobat show which was amazing.

“One day I want to become an acrobat”, Kevin told his mother with excitement and adventure written all across his face.

After checking out many other exhibits at the zoo the mother and her son then took a walk along Tiger Street and came to the cage that held the tigers Trevor and Tania. There was a sign on the cage that housed the tigers saying “Don’t come to close to the wires”.

Kevin stared at the tigers with interest for a long time. They were behaving badly like tigers do roughhousing and growling but Kevin didn’t care for he had a love and fascination for tigers.

As he headed for home young Kevin thought to himself “One day I want to own a big bad tiger and house it in my backyard”.
