Her first Scooty ride (With me)

So, here I lay awake dusting my sub-conscious mind to reminisce on one incident that happened five years ago, which has been slightly scrambled up in the memory sac due to poor nourishment. Most of the days my friend Shonali used to pick me up on her bike either to reach college or any outings we plan.. One fine day she came to my home .. sitting patiently for few minutes listened to my talks as I got ready ,we informed our parents and gone zoom.. Enjoyed the good ride, hugging her from behind, though feeling ticklish she had a good resistance ~ No worries, she had accustomed to my childlike(not childish) behavior, every now and then kept asking me whether I was comfortable as it was first ride together. In thirty minutes, we reached our college safely. We had continuous classes, had quick chats during break time, had a great day on the whole. Evening again she had to drop me back home. On the way ,were stuck amidst heavy traffic she somehow managed to take short route.. We reached safely again. Excited from the first safe bike ride , without alerting her to balance , I just tried quickly getting down from bike before she could firmly place both her legs on the ground. Oops..!! She lost control, we had a good fall .. There stood a stone seat behind my head, just escaped a crack of my skull, but my sentimental green pearled bracelet which I had worn on my right hand spilled out.. lifted my head to find.. bike on our legs! Not worrying about the broken mirror on her bike, not helping her to get up, I lay on the ground in the same position , without any movement ,busy looking at the shattered bracelet with tears.. Finally, she somehow managed to stand up herself & helped me out.We both lifted the fallen bike too. She wondered., worried whether I was hurt ~thoroughly checked me since my face was sad. But my sadness was because of the broken bracelet. Later, I saw the broken mirror on her new bike & felt bad for the incident. By then ,she understood the reason for my gloominess and helped me collect the scattered pearls, parked the vehicle, accompanying me..Came upstairs to rest for a while. Once we entered home, sat on our chairs and had a strong burst out of laughter ,recalling on what had happened just few minutes ago. My mom stood at the door and kept wondering looking at our crazy behaviour. Enquired us.But we covered it up. Shonali was so kind that she didn't blame me for my silly act. She also tried strapping the pearls together to repair it ..which didn't come that perfect . Assured me that she would buy me a new bracelet like the previous one very soon..and invoked a big grin on my face.:-) To tell you all:The "sentimental bracelet" that was ruined was the gift given by herself for one of my birthday. Again we had a good laugh together. That day was good fun.A memorable one for us! The concern & love she showers on me is unconditional.I am blessed to have her as my best friend in my life.We share a good bond even now and will be there for each other untill our last breath bids good bye..!!
