To enter this contest and have a chance at winning a copy of one of my books, you need to submit a new poem, from Mar. I , 2024 on... on any theme using a “Rispetto” format.

In my last contest, many good poems, unfortunately, had to be disqualified!
A new poem, one verse only... on any theme you want.
But only a new “Rispetto" poem is acceptable...
Rispetto
The rispetto lyric is generally composed of eight hendecasyllabic (11-syllable) lines. Early on the rhyme scheme was usually abababcc , but ababccdd is now more prominent. For this contest, I will accept either one.

when checking for rhymes or syllable counts ...no other programs will be acceptable.
Rules:
1) Do Not Put Your Name Or Any Information On Your Poem Page!
2) True rhymes only, no near rhymes
3) Be True To The Form you choose
4) Only submit poems relative to this contest; all others won't be read.
5) Must be a new poem as of March 1, 2024.
