I Saw the Red Moon

Traveling in our boat we get to see a lot of
visual
things that are so exceptional.
This event was sensational.
The moon a color of red hung aerial.
It was reflecting a trail of red blood on the top
of the water which was theatrical.
I was ecstatical
we were covered in red out here on the water
for this historical
Evening. It was magical
as well as unusual.
The moon was photographical.
I knew these pictures would be phenomenal.
After a while the moon started climbing higher
in its orb as it did so it's color was going back
to its natural color of vanilla. It was fantastical.
It felt mythical.
Tonight's evening for me would become poetical
as well as conversational.

The moon for me is a ball to love. and I love the moon. Nice write. Do keep safe--I lost too many people to this prolonging disease

Sorry, for the long delay in getting back to you. It has not been good around here. Grandma, a co worker and my father all passed due to Covid 19 which threw me for a loop. My daughter up North had it twice along with my six month old granddaughter who had seizures. I pray to God there was no development problems. My daughter who lives out west her whole family got it. My daughter in law got it. They were all super sick. Thank you for your wonderful comments. I will post poems soon. Stay safe.

Sounds thrilling. Bette. Just a plain "vanilla" moon looks magical on the water. I can only imagine a red one. I hope you are well and thank you for checking up on me. i enjoyed reading about your excellent boat ride:)
