Somebody Like You

Memories some good some bad some regrets
Songs I remember lyrics I can’t forget
But your love is a song that eases my troubled mind
You promised to never leave me
Though my rebellious ways running is all I knew
I wanted a separation you go your way
I go my way so it played out for awhile
I ran you ran with me when others didn’t
That’s never happened before
I am not easily understood
I don’t easily understand
But you gave my hand a squeeze
I joined you for some bread and wine
I never heard somebody like you
Your love was not a lie like so many before
And you kissed my soul like no other
