Permission to Pause 

Permission to Pause 
Reflect 
Revise and recheck 
Permission to take a deep breath 
We need it 
Retrieve it 
Get that ounce of air 
We all have time to spare  
Pause with permission 
Permission to Pause 
Inspite and through it all
What is permission 
Granted to do something 
With consent 
If times get too hard, you should vent 
Don't resent 
Protect your peace 
And you will see 
Everything will be at ease

Take a step forward 
Even when your back is against the wall 
You may stumble 
But please don't fall
Fall into the wrong thing 
Because of shortcomings

When it's overwhelming
