The Dreamer

He saw her once in a dream
Picture perfect girl bathing by the stream
His heart beats with franticness
As he looks at the water trickle down her breast
She looks at him and smiled
Tamed by her innocence he felt like a child
Her beauty is rare
Aphrodite could not compare
Lions lick her feet
Birds perch on her hand
Men die to be with her
Creatures of the sea wish to walk on land
Is it all just a dream to him?
Or is it all just in his head
To you it might sound grim
That picture perfect girl
Is lying next to me in bed
