Curtains

Characters:

Question Mark (Q):
A female human question mark in front of a curtain, let's say, just in front. She's a bit unsteady. If she were a spool of thread, she would be unraveled.
Exclamation Point (EP):
A human male exclamation point, forceful and decisive.

Dialogue:

Q:
When I met you, I was uncertain.
I kept my love behind a curtain.
Upon our romance we did embark.
But was I just a question mark?

You were exciting.  You were sure.
In your feeling, you were secure.
You won me, never to disappoint.
Cheers, my lovely exclamation point!

EP:
When I first met you, I was sure.
My love for you was strong and pure.
I'd not met a gal in creation
To inspire this exclamation!

Now, I view things differently
It seems you've lost your mind, you see.
And so, sadly, I've lost my spark.
Should I change to a question mark?

I like your take on the challenge. Love the way you have personified punctuation. Awesome! Very cleverly done :-D
