Summer Flowers

Rose red, white, pink, or yellow, is not merely a rose.
It has the beauty and fragrance to hypnotize us all,
Jasmine and Gardenia have fragrance so sensuous and wild,
They would remind me of my beloved the whole night.

Sunflower, Pansy, and Lavender, look so pretty,
They attract bees, birds and human alike,
As a young boy, I used to taste the nectar like bees,
Can’t forget the taste of honey even these days.

The beauty of Orchid, Giner, Heliconia, and Hawaiian Lei,
I could only appreciate if I were a butterfly,
Hovering over them, I would have been amazed by their intricate design,
Their colors and pattern would have given me a new look in my life.

Walking around in my little garden,
I feel content with the elegant look of Petunia and Marigold,
The birds of paradise and hibiscus show me the divine path,
Chrysanthemums, Daisies and Dahlias bring me heaven on earth.
