New seam

So many thoughts in my mind
Life can be kind
I see so much I can now do
Endless possibilities this is true
Thinking I had no tomorrows
Yes wishing for that land of no sorrows
Did not want to even try
Why
You kept saying I will die
Yet I am still here
I feel no fear
My life has been long
I stand strong
You were wrong
Now life offers me a tomorrow
Life was not mine but just to borrow
I can maybe now have a dream
My chest has a new seam
A chance at many a new day
As I make my way
What to do, what to do
To me I must be true
Reach for my star
It cannot be that far
Stepping above so much
Tomorrow seemed out of my touch
Lifes lessons what have they taught
I thought
Of all the dreams never to come true
......One dream made it through.....
The dream of a tomorrow
Life is not mine to beg or borrow
But mine to live
Of my soul, to give
Another day to dream
Thanks to this new chest seam
Cut down the middle
Solving lifes little riddle
What's on the other side
I place I never have to hide
It is a chance at today
I have found my way
Tomorrow
Is now my land of no sorrow
Where dreams can come true
A chance so new
It is where hope always grew
No fear
No tear
Life is now mine
Up to me to make my star shine
I have the strength
I will go the length
The challenge I accept
Through pain I slept
Wept
I have been through a lot
My will to live burns hot
My new seam
Gives me a chance to dream
How far will I go
I will never know
Unless I try
A happy tear to cry
