Anxiety

The stuff going on inside my mind is uncontrollable.
The stuff going on around me is not consolable.
Don't know if I should stay or run.
This feeling inside me isn't really fun.
Feeling nervous, restless, and tense.
I'm getting good grades at my sanity’s expense.
Breathing heavy, hard to breathe.
Feeling weak, I’m clenching my teeth.
Sweating, trembling, panicking severely.
The room is spinning, fainting, nearly.
The walls closing in, freaking out.
Wishing I could shut the voice out.
Grounding methods, just remember.
Take deep breaths, my chest an ember.
Breathe in, breathe out, I’m all calm now.
Anxiety sucks, I wonder how.
To get rid of this illness that provokes me every day.
My life, because of it, feeling gray.
