A Decision

I know I don’t know u
And u don’t me
Ur still an existence
A part of me

I may not get to know u.
hold u
I might be be a foreign entity

I know this all sounds silly and ur just a cluster of cells
But I hate each word that is muttered about u it rings like silver bells
I want to protect u
Cluster of unknown truth
Even though your the proof
And I don’t know why maybe we can just be friends..... maybe I’ll just cry
I imagine I’m doing the right thing
I’m not sending u off alone

The world is cold
And I’m not old
And my hand might not be enough I’m told
Better yet I’m still your mother don’t be mad at me
There’s nothing I can do

Me and you we cannot be

Our universes even yours so small
Can’t find mutual mutiny

So for now I know this sounds cliquey
But let’s meet tomorrow not today
I promise I’ll love you and I promise I’ll care
I still do now even though your not there
Just wait for me kindly up in the stars
I’ll be your Venus and I’ll be your Mars

Let me sing u a lullaby of my tears and my scars

I’m so very sorry that I can’t be enough
Let me embrace you in the form this unborn mother’s love
