Note 2 Self

You embraced me in this lonely place, befriended my heart, made it your "bestie".
No more pondering, there is a soul identical to my unique blend of pain and love.
A seed planted deep inside my heart sprouting happiness and joy.
Chemistry seems to be a reoccurring subject when we’re together,
we pass effortlessly every time.
Maybe it’s because opposites do attract or maybe we aren’t so disparate after all.
As good as it feels, it leaves me guessing,
should I welcome it and risk regret?

Ah, Brittny, please take the risk. When older people who are dying are questioned about their regrets - they always answer the same thing. The only regret they have is not taking the "risk" or seizing the opportunity then it arrived. Nice one, Brittny. Well-played, and well-penned.
