My Flower

When will I find my flower?
To what depths must I travel,
What heights must I overpower,
What mysteries must I unravel

To find my red rose,
My undying romance,
My longing ever grows
If only for a glance

At my white lily,
My pure princess,
My hearts achille.
Would that I could confess

My longing to my love.
But alas, her I can not find,
I cry to God above,
As tears down my face wind.

When will this sorrowful son of Adam
Find his Eve and ease his aching bosom?

Raven Haired Goddess

Twilight bows to her. As light descends, night arrives. Raven haired goddess.

Thinking of You

My fair raven haired maiden,
Parting from you causes me such longing.
Many are the thoughts with which my mind is laden.
Of us, hand in hand, in our place of belonging.
Of us, eye to eye, our days prolonging.
Our course through life, together we would chart,
And while I'm with you or departing...
I'm thinking of you with all of my heart.

How I wish that the sun would never set,
That our time with each other would never end.
But time we cherish due to nights onset.
Due to ends and beginnings can our love ascend,
It begin again, only as time does descend.
While I dread nights onset and our time apart,
I need you to know, my fair godsend...
I'm thinking of you with all of my heart.

While we are without one another,
This lonely time too, will come to a close.
I look forward to our time together.
To look into your eyes divine and repose
In arms of mine, your hands and mine enclose
Each other, wanting no other, dreading to depart.
And while we wait, I hope your heart knows...
I'm thinking of you with all of my heart.

My fair maiden, while my heart forgoes,
For now, your presence. I hope God will impart
His blessing upon us. Till we meet, I expose...
I'm thinking of you with all of my heart.

Father Marx

He was a herder of many sheep.
Often he whipped his tongue and spared the rod.
He lived for the Lord, for the harvest to reap.
With all his heart and soul, he loved his God.

What words can suffice to send off a soul?
A soul of a priest, a servant of He
Who by words so sacred, words that extol,
He descends from on high for you me.

Gladly he sat in the person of Christ,
Healing souls and forgiving our sins.
Offering what God had sacrificed,
Gaining grace for us to save our skins.

Now gone, he goes to join the patriarchs,
The saints on high. We'll miss you Father Marx

Rain

As clouds roll on by, Water falls from morning sky. New life springs from earth.

Rays of Love

Love is like sunshine,
Engulfing all in it's rays.
Casting light so divine
And setting hearts ablaze.

It's source you cannot behold.
For no eye can penetrate
That light of pure gold,
Which many have failed to imitate.

It's rays enlighten all.
Breaking over hearts and crowns of stone,
Into valleys and pits they fall
Leaving none alone.

Bathing all in rays so warm
Causing gentle reform.
