Missing You Daddy

Splinters scattered everywhere, broken furniture and chandelier. The stench of alcohol fills the air, with a lifeless body in a rocking chair.

I begged you to stop and you said that you would, you promised me daddy that life will be good. It was after you told me that  I understood, but you said you'd get help and I told you you should.

Crying won't help me now that you're gone, neither was listening to our favourite song.  Your place is right here, with me you belong, I am missing you daddy, you've broken our bond.

Breakthrough

When will my rain clouds subside and fill my life with sunshine. Is it too much to ask for a break? I have made lemonade so many times, I don't think life has anymore lemons to give me. Let me sip the sweet from the comb of my labour, I have been through enough. Wearing a smile yet garbed  inside with pain, pretending like I have it all together. I need a break!!

The Moment

Oh rare is the sight my eyes behold,
Arteries of love my heart unfolds.
A mile I may walk with chains to arrest,
Your smile and beauty and your caress.

The scent of your hair had me gazed in a trance,
You like how I touch you with these magical hands.
Heartbeat increases with every breath you take,
Intensely you stare at every move I make.

What I wouldn't give to remain in your arms,
Outside as rain falls with the welcomed thunderstorms.
Rest well my dear, I'll watch you as you sleep.
The memories we are making for a lifetime I will Keep.

24 Hrs

Sunset cascading
bluffing mountains,
Dainty skylines the moon undress
Beautiful mother nature.

My Invisible Feelings

We fell in love at lightning speed,
Nothing was amiss.
So I satisfied how I was feeling,
By administering a kiss.

As months flew by and turned into years,
Our love got rent in twain.
What started out like blissful union,
Was being replaced with pain.

My feelings seems invisible,
Its killing me inside.
Hurt and more hurt,
Evermore I cried.

Tension building in the atmosphere,
Causing panic attacks.
When I see how it's affecting me,
But she seems so relaxed.

We are at the point of no return,
Without a doubt all is lost.
We look at each other with physical eyes,
But my invisible feelings was the cost.
