Fifty Shades of Gray

Fifty Shades of Gray

Fifty shades of gray. Today was not my best day. Lay broken from dusk to dawn. All cares, wishes, hopes and dreams are sprawled across the lawn. These skies are fifty shades of gray. Friends and families have gone away. What else is left to say, when this day has gone astray.
Who knows the wonder that you ponder. That wonder you hold, test the depths of what you console. Pushing on the brink of insanity. Desolate discovery of ones invisible self. Never to be seen or understood when such pain still lingers inside. Voices collide, denied lies of your demise. Now seek out your own confessions, when no one is left to listen to you confide. Hide within ones mind, what the truth holds. Exposed once again to those, whom wish to do you harm. For my skies are fifty shades of gray and this day is not my best. For my thoughts are put to rest and my stress has taking aim. Only to leave the same way it came, with fifty shades of gray. Just hoping for a brighter day.

Emotional Solace

The mistakes of many holds true till now. Unanswered questions and unforgiving thoughts.
No one knows me.
No one knows, how broken and beaten you are. No one ask, to see your scar, your broken doors left ajar.
There is no more wonder in your step. No one to hold while you slept.
 Everything seems so empty.
When what you want may never what you back.
Facts becomes lies , lies becomes truth. Now my feelings are loose and my emotions have been hung out on the noose. Embedded within these written words of abuse.
Where are the ones, that made my heart ponder? Where is the wonder, that filled my soul?
Far from my imaginations of what it could be. Left with multiple smiles and many, whom wanted to see.
Now only to set everyone free, but wanting to be, unchained from my weakened heart.
When there is no love, to share, no one is there anymore, to care.
These seasons have run its course. For the source is me, a vicious cycle of pity. The monster in the room concealed to darkness, hideous is how it is perceived by nature. Capturing the untold stories, of ones love for another. Yearn for the ones that may find themselves on the other end. Now, reset and life starts all over again.

In the Midst of Chaos, There Must Be Peace

In the Midst of Chaos, There Must be Peace

Within all debating, fighting, hating, and an act of mayhem. There must be peace. Peace just the word alone gives people with no hope, hope.
Dreams of better days to come. Some crumble at the mere thought of peace.
Some fear the shear release of something so powerful, so overwhelming. The point of people getting alone seems to be utter chaos.

The madness of instituting drama, rage, hurt, and pain. Others will love for you to sustain in that place of anguish. Viewing you dancing in the rain, but not of joy. Just to watch another and another destroy all that may be just. Lost land, loss of money and trust, but what about a loss of one's self. The lost that brings on chaos, the sickness, and madness. The lost that dwells and swells to the top, but makes its way to show your reflection. Just a ripple in time, where we all should want more. Not for a day, not for a second, but for the thought of knowing that its possible. Possible to curve the hatred, possible to know, you can control the way things turn out and the way they escalate. Try peace over madness and embrace the things that you would truly want out of life, everlasting.

                                                                                             Darius Howard

Waves of Opal Nights

Waves of Opal Nights

May appear to be real, but the deal that once was sealed is unfinished and untouched.
Clutched by one's eyes of what you truly want to see, but left with this mirage; this montage of innocence.
Remorse has no place within these shark-infested waters.
Slaughtered, by the words that cut so deep. Sleep on the cold steep steels of woods keep.
Shaded, jaded yet aided by those, that were dismissed.
Sealed with a kiss, as lies forever build and your soul dies a little more, from each passing puff.
Is it enough?
How long can you, should you, or would you keep, this forged emotion going?
Not showing, any of what is hidden. Just maybe, when it all sinks with unbroken chain linked feet and hands into obscurity. Purity has no security with such inadequacy of things written. Forbidden to care or dream about things that once was us. Faded, within the moments of time. When the wind chimes its broken song of dismay. Left to lay in a distant future, far far away.

                                                                                 Darius Howard

Feeling Realities Emptiness Emotions

Feeling Realities Emotionless Emptiness
Free
The thought of feeling free,
What does it feel like to be free?
Is it as free as the rain that falls down on our face, laced with the cleansing that is needed.
Feeding the hardship and emptiness conquered by our souls.
Clouded judgement misplaced emotions.
Everything seems to move in slow motion, with a lethal dose of realities empty potion.
Does anyone care of the bigger notion.
Coming together or is it better that these words fall on deaf ears. Due to fear, and killings ever single year.
Heartaches blended in ones chest.
Thinking out loud, shrouded by the explosion of cries in the streets.
Wars at home, others feeling the sting of just wanting to be left alone.
Atone for the sake of the unforgiving, no more blue skies.
Just a handful of goodbyes.

Loves Definite

Loves Definite

An intense feeling of deep affection
Love

Love is depicted in so many ways.
We say love and share this love, in ways that seem forbidden or hidden.
Laced in secrecy, sometimes it seems foreign.
Mistreated, misunderstood and abused. This pain amuses no one, which is unforgivable. Yet, we still want it...Love, we still yearn for it ...Love. Scream from the rooftop L.O.V.E!

Love feels great, making you warm, weak and sometimes drives you insane, and again we still want it to remain. Love makes you want to cherish every moment with that someone or something. Love makes it hard to let go. When you know you should, but we continue to want to fight for it. The power of love can burn a hole in your chest and eat away at your heart. When love leaves you abandon, after playing its tricks and games. This thing called love, can leave you feeling empty inside, but can also give you a forgiven and merciful heart.

Start there, when trying to heal, when love has dealt you a low blow. Love can also make you believe in the power of self-preservation, self-healing, and self-motivation. To know that you are loved, no mater the loveless souls of others.
True love will pull you through when at you’re lowest. You begin to see the reward of failing. Achieving the strength to move onward and embrace love, when it truly presents itself. That true love is everlasting, which places a smile on your face and caresses your tears that may fall from your eyes with joy.

You see love will shine no mater, the hurt and pain. Which loving yourself unconditionally and then let your love shine through all wickedness and deceit?

Don’t take love for granted, embrace and let it grow from within, no matter the outcome. Just remember, if it's true, your heart and love will always weather the storm.

Hidden Agenda

Hidden Agenda

Fighting hard to maintain
Instigating while, hesitating on that last breath, on that last breeze.
Taking all things with ease
Thought of as a dream lost in a tease
Staring in to the depth of the night skies
Where there is no time for disguise or sleep
Man eyes creep, others crawl.
How steep is the climb.
Sublime is how it felt when moving in stealth, chasing the dream of wealth
Flying high above the clouds, like a trustee of adjudication.
Encompassed by that fascination of procrastination when falling to the ground in defeat. Please, place a blockade on this terror. Lost souls, but still so much to gain.
Slain in its rapture of pain. Wondering was it all left to chance or lost in vain.
Hidden in plain visual sense. Now lets commence and forget about the suspense.
It's here!

Whispering Winds

Hello,

Feelings of danger, just borderline from being a stranger. Wrapped with an emotional slice of anger.
When does it all stop? Popping tops , listening day after day, as the gun goes pop.

Knocks at the door; screams in the streets.
Heat rains down upon your head and feet. Wondering could you be here? Right this minute, in the now, or just my imagination lost, instead.

Dread the future, not knowing what it has in store.
Close narrow minded thinking, leaves you guessing, whats next behind the door.

Processing the urge to live free, even within the worse conditions.
These cruel intentions, that you forgot to mention. Full blown repartitions misleading contradictions, of others lone finger.

Linger in and out of consciousness, dazed, blazed and no longer amazed; lost in this mascaraed of slumber. Bearing witness to the things, that you think are true. When only escaping the pleasantry of times cracked view.

Hello, and you are?

Fatherless

Fatherless

Faded pictures and moments of disguise. Wanting only the skies limit, for these words may appear to be quite timid, but where are you? Pursue the pursuit of happiness, of just being one in life. Joy filled days and nights of all we could share. Is it fair, when no one is there? When there is nothing, to do but stare out into the wilderness, and in vision such a place, where you stood. The strength that was given to you, but it abandons you when it comes to us. Lost in a system of hopes and dreams. Wanting to be wanted, yet no one seems to understand. Braved it all alone, as the wind shatters, these tears for all to see. Calling out your name. Not in vain, as so many may claim. Insanity it could be, but the hope still remains. Dangerously close to the edge, of this unknown cyclone of feelings, dealing away the pain. These house of cards have falling. Stalling as the storm urges on. Father were have you gone?

Awaken Fear

Awaken Fear

Dark covered skies overcast tonight.
It’s late out, footsteps on the streets, wind chasing through the trees.
Everything seems so ordinary from this point of sight.
Lost, are those shadows lurking endlessly like a tease.

Shown love within the moments of sadness and pain.
Clock ticking away, yet wishing time would stand still.
Refrain from this mental madness that leaves us all slain.
Victims to succumb to this repetitive bitter pill.

Time after time deafening screams and tearful cries, from mothers awaken fear.
No! Not my baby, this can’t be.
Whispers of life’s hard reality shown to be fatally clear.
When will this cycle end before we see?

That everything will be lost within a blink of an eye.
Until we decide to give love a try.
