With All My Heart

With all my heart I love you so
Since the very first day we met
I thought I just let you know

Our love is stronger and continues to grow
There had been no sense of regret
With all my heart I love you so

You have always been there when times were low
No broken vows of passion as of yet
I thought I just let you know

Three simple words that let my feelings show
Obstacles in our past we now forget
With all my heart I love you so

You'll always be in my heart wherever you go
And with three growing kids I have certainly no regret
I thought I just let you know

We've been together now - twenty years ago
even from the very first day we met
With all my heart I love you so
I thought I just let you know

Amy’s Toys

A is animals on top of my bed
which are all laid out in a nice big spread

B is for banana a soft yellow fruit
I pretended to be a monkey in a fancy suit

I made the collar myself because I didn’t like the pink collar

I made paper sailing hats and they all sailed in a yacht

Snow Day

Tempest rages through the night
Howling and roaring with all her might
Rain lashing against the window pane
How I wish the storm would end!

Thunder and lightning what a night
Tempest’s energy bolt of light
Now what’s that I see outside?
It’s falling slowly and it’s white

In the morning I rushed downstairs
I turned on the radio unawares
“No school today,” the broadcaster announced
I screamed for joy, I jumped - I bounced

Yipeee a snow day no school for me
I quickly finished my cup of tea
I grab my coat, hat and scarf
Then went to play with my friends in the park

See No Evil - Ten Word Challenge

The halcyon days of my youth were full of exuberant teenagers,
with a fire built and music blaring they,
danced under the crepuscular light,
with loud drunken sonorous,
much to the annoyance of the local opulent farmer who,
was cynical about the drunks not moving from his land,
then an eerie Penumbra silenced the drunks,
they sensed a visceral fear of change among them,
while they sat in a desultory mess,
jealousy was not too far behind.

Witches Party

Three witches once lived on top of a hill,
Which was close to a river and next to a mill,
Each one of them were all different in height,
Not to mention their faces which might give you a fright.

Squiggle was huge, Wriggle was small and Piggle was somewhere in the middle,
They all had crooked noses which were long and gross - warty,
And with hairs on their chins they looked way over forty,

One day they were bored, bored as can be,
Just sitting on top of a sycamore tree,
Then out of the blue Piggle suggested,
“Let’s throw a huge party,” she requested.

“Oh yes,” her two sisters did replied,
Then all of them went down a slide,
They wrote invitations and sent them far and wide,
Until their wands ran out and dried,
On the day of the party all three were excited
They couldn’t keep still for they were delighted.

Squiggle decorated, Wriggle danced and Piggle baked and cooked,
All was done until at last they heard their friends come,
“They are here, they are here!” all three cried and went and looked,
A convoy of witches all different in sizes and some were banging on drums

They danced and played games and ate through the night,
Till the morning sun rose high in the sky,
The three witches were sad to see their friends take flight,
“Don’t worry,” they shouted “We’ll be back again soon.” as they all waved a cheery goodbye.

There were once three witches who lived on hill,
Which was close to a river and next to a mill
