Tasruzzaman Babu Poem
1.
O you grasshopper
Don’t fleet anymore, go home
Rain! Float you away.
2
Full moon glows and I
Lying on grass peep at the
Black sky, full of stars.
3
Haiku, as like as
Bonsai, snapshot of nature
JPG format .
4
It’s a gusty night
She and me in a small room
Were gustoing closely.

Tasruzzaman Babu Poem
Winter that shakes bones
The pond seems as like as a
Cup of tea with smoke.

Tasruzzaman Babu Poem
Mr. Robinson’s going into a coma
Slowly… gradually…
All his family’s seeing him
But nothing to do anything
Mr. Robinson’s going into a coma
What a deep sleep it’s!
How much long a death is it?
Little by little Mr. Robinson’s
going to be unconscious…
The sun will rise in the east
The sun will set in the west
Moons…
New moon
Half moon
Full moon-
How many silver moons as glittering coin of 5 Taka*
Will come and down in the night- sky?
Mr. Robinson will sleep for how many days
And his family will stand beside his bed
Being anxious family members
Will stare at him for how so long…?
His body’s going to be frozen
Sense’s going to an unknown world
Heart beat’s being slower
Mr. Robinson’s going into a coma
Slowly… gradually…
*Taka= Bangladeshi money

Tasruzzaman Babu Poem
O you, Dear Zephyr! Blow, blow, blow
Over the vill. that’s beneath the hill
Abutting my heart and opened hand’s claw
Never be stopped and never be slow.
Not be so hot, not be so chill
So that much comfort we feel
To lessen the heat of the sun’s glow
In a pleasant manner you have to flow
So please, dear zephyr! Blow you blow.

Tasruzzaman Babu Poem
At the second floor of the land-lord house
A lantern gleams all night long
Its light can be seen beyond the sash of the window
Dimly…
When nocturnal birds also return to nests
The eyes of stars are languished due to drowsiness
Footfall already stops
Fireflies are also tired by sparkling light
The voice of crickets are also chocked
Yet…
In a room of the second floor of the land-lord house
A lantern flickers dimly All night long…

Tasruzzaman Babu Poem
In the evening there are two guys
Climbing up the top of two several hills
Target on another with their pistols
It’s a duel and only nature is the viewer
Along with the setting sun and open sky.
What will happen, who will die?
Nature is waiting to see eagerly
Probably it forgets to breathe,
They target one another
Keeping finger upon the trigger
One…
Two…
Three…
Both they fire together
Closing their eyes
What happened? Who died?
Both they cry loudly, opening eyes
‘d*mn! Mistake to load the gun
Next day again, ok brother?'
Since last week
They tried to kill one another.

Tasruzzaman Babu Poem
I know you see me lady
Beyond the curtain
Look me over lady more and more
So that you can choose me
So that you can make me yours.
My body gives me warning
My body is still warming
Give me a chance lady, give me a floor
I will teach you to love and care
Also to open the mingle door.
I know you still stare at me
Concealing thee stealthily
Thinking me of lady in many pose
So that I may be your nightingale
So that you may be my rose.
