More Worse When I Cry

(note: picture is essential to the poem)

Teacher said my decisions needed consequences.
I have to write a million gazillion sorry sentences.
Billy was stupid to tease me, call my family poor.
I had to kick Billy so he wouldn’t say it more.
Just like Dad does, I laughed when he hit the floor.
Dad would say I was strong, teach says I was wrong.

I don’t understand any grown up stuff.
They don’t act the same way enough,
or Dad is right; I’m so stupid, I can’t keep up.
I’m trying so hard to stop my eyes.
Things always get more worse when I cry.
Even when I’m quiet and being haved
my tummy hurts cause it feels afraid.

Everyone’s at recess, but cause I made an upset,
Teach said there’d be no play time for me yet.
I don’t know what she means by classroom policy,
but it seems like a plan you grow up and forget.
There’s no sorry policy in my family.
Dad never 'pologizes when he kicks me.

Soulmate Love

Finding love is our unsure heart’s goal as edged on by our confident souls. Some journey through life with love as their primary dream, only to give up after giving all to failures’ torturous theme. They may wish their constant dream to unfold, but cannot befriend the lonely, dark hole that mocks the intentions of their soul. For many, ‘tis when heart hopes completely dim that fate itself delivers the right her or him. When true love is meant to be, it shall appear and reward every lonely, unfulfilled tear.

When true love wraps you in its infinite folds, there is nowhere else you will need or wish to go.
When you truly love someone, you hold their dreams inside your prayers and lay stepping stones to assist them there. Grateful for the long awaited task, you let love toss every mask you ever faked for romance’s sake. Each past pretense may now relax, disappear and never come back, for true love loves your truth and would never wish to see you subdued. Real love wraps around the you that your life really grew. Love grants the finest gift, a present of loving arms embracing all of you, not despite, but because their heart knows all of you. Freely and without hesitation, you give your body, heart, spirit, secrets and possessions, confident none will ever be used as emotional weapons. No matter any day’s design, love soothes all away when at night you lay entwined. True love is two who mutually fulfill emotional needs, heeds fears to see them eased and nurses hurts that may otherwise bleed. Even in silence, love’s communication and awareness are at its finest. When alone, at home, such love is happily content for together time never ceases being time joyously spent. When one is weak, one stays strong, for two in love alter leaning and being leaned on. Each the other seeks to please for your love’s smile gives back pleasurable degrees. When in love, such smiles become your heart’s feed. After time spent apart, love seeks and finds its prize in the other’s loving eyes.
When love is of truth’s seed, two breaths become a single heartbeat, pulsing as one, dual, soul-deep feed.

Poisonous Self Doubt

Only life in our mortal realm
entrenches self-doubt’s stand.

People and events cripple us
with critical mirrors showing us
visuals of our ineptness.

All who are predisposed to clutching their negative blows
know doubts occurrences of fearful disturbance
	                     thoroughly unscrambles one’s confidence channel

Image deceit drips as falsely scented,
mixed with drops of fictive doubt,
to kidnap our splendid potential.

On and off, our truth wrestles doubt’s absolutes.
Since youth, most have fought that gloomy devil.

Sensual Silky Colors

I have loved and been loved - I have shared ivory love bliss colors.

I have ridden sapphire airs of crimson ecstasy and touched silver stars.

I have felt gold, silky, lilac joy move and embrace my harlequin heart.

I have melted to tangerine delight caresses tingling my willing, fuchsia skin.

I have been lifted and turned and tossed - on sensual, erotic
waves that travel bold - through and between me

Insanity Music

Last year, her imagination went double
So she ignored her previous schedule.
She put all her dreams inside of clear jars,
Decorated with different, assorted stars.

She believed if she always kept things rounded,
She would also succeed in keeping life grounded.
So she would circle every found square
Believing it demonstrated her constant care.

Plastic, colored eggs hung from her ceiling
To keep her floor from creaking and reeling.
Pale pink and bold gold stripes on her wall
Recorded every received telephone call.

She worshiped and loved both the sun and moon,
But only from inside her living room.
She feared really being observed outside,
A place where stray cats were known to hide.

She always loved dance, but during this year
She’s been dancing to music only she can hear.
All these things bring her secure nuances near,
But make her sanity less and less clear.

Florida Keys Please

No litter, no rules, no society scent,
just peninsula pure soul content, ideally lent.
Awed and wowed with arms stretched wide,
I stand on Key’s narrow road, on narrow land,
surrounded by two sea gems and their sand.

This dream road sea-drowns, down south’s horizon
and thrills my innocence without even trying.

Western growth is dense and a fence in Gulf’s yard.
Her wave’s sirens are blue-salt diamonds
and I am mesmerized by their titan climbing.

East unfolds turquoise enchantments unmarred –
The playful, poetic Atlantic off guard,
bewitching and hypnotic in regard.

Dazzled, I sit in the sea, shoulders deep.
Powder soft ocean floor thrones me nicely.
I could sit the day in this sea so sultry.
Flirty, allusive, emerald joys leap
as languid, luscious wet meets sun’s glee,
sending my senses high where memories keep.

These expressive ocean blues and greens
are of patterns and ways, I have never seen.
Sensual and graceful, each sea touch is delight –
as soothing in feel as pleasure in my sight.
Before me spreads endless bounty of ocean glean.
Under Florida-kissed skies, I sit wet and serene.

Precious Friendship

Lovingly Dedicated to My Closest Friend, My Mother
My loving friend can caress cares away. With simple gestures meant to pleasure sway, She turns my smile upright and firms its stay. Such kindness meets my same, I do oft pray. As balm she soothes incurred hurt, ache and pain. Together, life’s rude battles lose their strain As handled by our combined wit and brain. I hope her loving light will never wane. She matters so much to my fragile heart That I view her as my dear counterpart. We sometimes separate, but never part. I love her laughter, value her brain-smart. We grow and change like season’s nature hues. With candor we explore life’s many clues, And, God knows, we both paid quite hefty dues. As precious gift, our friendship joys accrue. What she may need, I pray to aptly grant. What dims her joy, I strive to best supplant. What hurts her feelings, I seek to decant. What her heart wants, becomes my own heart’s chant. ... Poem Ingredients

Many ingredients bake writing inspiration. This recipe combines a stirring sensation: Heaps of desires never realized as marinated in teary sore eyes; Quantities of wide open spaces caramelized by nature’s appeal; Ageless genuine emotional traces sifted thru heart rendered graces; Equal parts family and romantic love as roasted within, without and above; Measured creamed ideals of peace with blanched pain and battle grease; Diced wishes braised with thrill bearing aromas of tangy heat or chill; Slices of awe from a glorious tree breaded with traits strong and free; I do not forget sour spices of greed dusted with mankind’s violent seed; A mix of fears dredged in anxiety with stress jelled in complexity; and, lastly, faith garnished spirit grown in a soul conscious thicket. If able, I mix love with ingredients above before sampling my recipe once warmed up. If savory, I enjoy serving in poetry cups.

I Confess, I Am Guilty

My parents said I could not keep the black, stray cat.
They explained our canary would not survive that.

Parents out, a sitter, and my four-year-old mind
Let the cat in and hoped for the best in due time.

I am ashamed to have plotted murder when four,
Sad an innocent bird died cause I liked cats more.

The whole family loved that sweet cat, “Little Bit”,
Plus, I promise, I never planned another death hit.

Goodbye Darling Peter Pan

Dearest Child-Adventuring Man, My Darling Peter Pan:

Since that never to be forgotten day when Wendy first brought you my way, my heart has been enchanted thru and true with love for you. You are as magical as your happy-thought dust that brought me flight thru star-glimmer skies, shimmering great joy from my soul-core straight to my eyes. With you, I have felt amazing fantasy as enthralling reality because of the wonder that is you and your purview.

I love Neverland, Tinker Bell, the boys and the countless joys that made
up the minutes of each day we shared. Though nothing in my future will
ever compare, I can no longer deny that I am compelled to step into adulthood, that such is what I should do, what I am meant to do, and must do without you. In your world, I will always be your girl, but in the traditional world, I must let my woman unfurl. What is calling me onward and forward is all that you would never walk toward and risk dying adult-bored.
 i
Turn any woe into a splendid crow of much ado, repeat until woe has winded you, then smile to know -
I shall always gratefully and lovingly remember you ….

[I have loved Peter Pan since age four and still wish I could Peter Pan the sky].
