Prayers Can'T Be Answered Unless They'Re Prayed

Life without purpose is barren indeed.
There can’t be a harvest unless you plant the seed.
There can’t be attainment unless there’s a goal.
Ask Jesus to forgive you for your trespasses so He can cleanse your soul.
If we send no ships out, no ships will come in,
And unless there’s a contest nobody can win.
For games can’t be won unless played,
And prayers can’t be answered unless they’re prayed.
So whatever is wrong with your life today.
You will find a solution if you kneel down and pray.
Not just for pleasure, enjoyment, and health.
Not just for honor and prestige and wealth.
But pray for a purpose to make life worth living,
And pray for the joy of unselfish giving.
For prayer is your gladness and blessings from heaven is your reward.
When you make your life’s purpose the choice of the Lord.
So when someone ask you today, “How you doing?”
You should say, “ fine because I prayed.”

Too Much Pride

It either kills the person or gives them glory.
It has it’s own life and demands territory.
It is one of the seven most deadly sins.
Be very careful because it could make your life end.
It is the contrast of real inner strength.
It has a unforgettable smell with a stench.
Pride generates vanity and humility.
It reminds me of a Greek tragedy.
With that in mind I remain humble and meek.
But are proud men considered weak?
In a lot of religions pride is definitely forbidden.
It is a mask behind which low self-esteem are hidden.
Pride makes you unable to listen to others or to God's messages.
Some people have cockiness with smuggness as their self-righteousness.
They soon deny about having problems.
But by being so hardheaded and stubborn they can never solve them.
They need to shed their masks, which covers low self-esteem, a lack of self-
confidence, and a sense of insecurity.
Seek God and keep Jesus in your life to make you happy.

"Blessed is that man that makes the Lord his trust, and looks not to the proud,
nor to those that turn aside to lies." (Psalm 40:4)

Imagine That

If there was no crime
No hurry for time
No genocide
No homicide
If there was no mothers burying their sons
If mankind didn't invent guns
If schools still had prayer
If everybody recognize Jesus Christ as our savior
If there was love and respect
No hate between white and black
No homeless
No loneliness
No wars
No rich or poor
No accidents or disasters
If man only served one master (God)
Imagining is good for all it's worth
Heaven is definitely not planet earth

Empty Life

What ever happened to life,
Is it now occupied too much by strife?
I don't think no answers will come,
Or should I just succumb.
Love can only solve this.
We have to understand that our lives are gifts.
Is the world spinning so fast,
Or is it the time to forget the past.
In a world filled with changes each and every day,
That is why we constantly need to pray.
Why don't we open our eyes and see,
This is real and not a illusion but it is reality.
I believe we live and die by the choices we make,
But there's only so much a person can take.
Only we as humans can determine our fate,
As long as we are still living it's never too late.
There are always moments of glory, joy and pain,
Now days not too much will be sane.
In this life I'm going to wear the biggest smile even though I want to cry.
I'm going to fight to live even though I'm destined to die.
For those full of spite and always complaining,
The world is full of darkness; I still believe there is hope remaining.

James 4:14 ESV "Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life?
For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes."

A True Friend

Friendships come and friendships go
Some may fail, some may grow
But some are cherished from the start
But honesty and loyalty has to come from the heart
Friends are forever and forever are friends
They are thick and thin till the end
A true friend comes along only once in a while
There always there especially through all your trauma and trials
I'll be by your side evermore
That is what friends are for
Do not forget your friends at all
For they pick you up when you fall
True friends never say good-bye
Honesty is the best policy so there’s no need to lie
The worth of true friends is to be treasured
Their worth cannot be accurately measured

Friends... they cherish one another's hopes. They are kind to one another's dreams.
Henry David Thoreau

So long as the memory of certain beloved friends lives in my heart, I shall say that life is good.
Helen Keller

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.
Proverbs 17:17

The Old Man With One Shoe

It was a homeless old man near a shoe store who fell asleep
He was so tired that nap turned to a sleep that was deep
A little boy walked passed with his mother and noticed that the old man had one shoe
He felt sad, “mother it’s something I just got to do!”
That little boy face was full of tears
His little heart grew big because he cared
He grabbed both of his mother’s hand and tightly grasped them leading her into prayer
After the short and quick prayer, “Mom I was just told to share.”
He had ten dollars from his allowances that he saved for weeks
His mother didn’t know what to say, she couldn’t even speak
Immediately he rushed in the shoe store and asked the clerk how much was that one black wing tip shoe
The clerk had a big smile and said it was thirty-two
Every customer and fellow employee gave money to make the little boy prayer come true
Instead of thirty-two dollars he now had sixty four
He quickly grabbed the shoe box and ran out the door
The little boy shook the old man out of his sleep and gave him the box
When the old man woke up his eyes was full of tears and he was shocked
Big crocodile tears rolled down his face
He grabbed the little boy and gave him the tightest embrace
The old man yelled, “This is the best gift yet!”
Some say the old man got up and danced until the sun set

Mark 12:30-31 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[a] 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.”

Miracles Rain From Heaven

It came into existence from the breath of God
Just look at animals, people, trees, and look at a bird
The blind will begin to see
People in bondage of sin is now free
The famine will be fed with loaves of bread and fish
A hospice child is granted and receives a wish
People with cerebral palsy will walk
A Chinese man with a speech impediment will suddenly talk
A New York fireman is in a burning building walks out untouched
On a movie set a stunt woman does an amazing and impossible stunt
A very racist white man get saved in a all black church
An illiterate and homeless man gets saved and a hour later get hired to work
A man rushed to hospital in trauma flat lines awake and yells for wife
A young mother addicted to drugs become clean and gives Jesus her life
Everyone these people can be a witness and be a disciple
That heaven rains miracles

John 1:16, 17 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after
another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Walking Shoes

I’m tired of you.
Back stabbing me and not keeping it true.
Deceiving and lying
When I caught you, here comes the fake crying
The sad bedroom eyes hiding behind a guilty face
The phony kisses and the warm embrace
What you hide in the dark always come out in the light
Sometimes our secrets we thought we hid is revealed in our own sight
You claimed you loved me
But it’s more like you hate or envy me
If you really don’t love me just let me be
Everyday I tried, believe me I prayed
But I hope you don’t think you’re here to stay
I even loved you when you did not love me
“So why are you still with me?”
So take your shoes and go
Don’t tie up your laces so slow
Remember I gave you love when nobody else would
I even took away your doubts that every man is no good
“Shush don’t say nothing don’t even talk.”
Just take your shoes and walk

Road To Redemption

Lately I've been thinking of the past I don't know why.
Past memories only make me cry.
Sometimes I hold so much inside.
Carefully in my heart they will be forgotten and a place to hide.
So many wounds and unhealed scars.
Damaged and wrecked like a compact car.
I read the bible as a escape from my nightmares.
In my sleep I grit my teeth and pull my hair.
Sometimes I wish these memories would go away.
To the Lord Jesus I pray that they will disappear.
It's been four years of not living in fear.
Sometimes we have to let go the past to move forward.
That's not being weak or a coward.
That is life we either keep living or give up.
So keep your head up.

Lover's Fate

Was it the jewelry or cash.
Is this why we wouldn't last.
Was it the late night disagreements.
That led to so many arguments.
Tell me what was it.
Or what was it.
Was it you or me.
Did this split come because our family.
I do admit sometimes I lied.
So many times I held you in my arms while you cried.
I wiped away your tears and held you so near.
Day in and out I expressed myself to you.
I made sure I was sincerely true.
So many people was envious and jealous.
For some reason did that make us rebellious?
We had our wall that nobody could break down.
We both didn't sleep around.
So please tell me why are you mad.
If you won't tell me I can't sleep I got it bad.
Mind is flowing with so many what if's and what not's.
We was so close and tied together who untied the knot.
Breakups lead to heartaches and headaches.
So please tell me what's our fate.
