Winter,Summer, Spring, and Fall

First of all I am going to tell you a story about the four seasons,
winter summer spring and fall,

Its a story not to forget at all and it is easy to remember that
Fall is a season that likes it cool, the nice wind blowing as all the leaves make sounds as they hit the ground,

And Winter it's a season of snow with the frosty nicknames that everyone knows.

And Summer is the hotest season of all, bringing up the heat so much you wish it was still fall.

Now spring is the prettyest season I have seen, where everything is blooming and growing green. Its a season where all the birds start singing cause of the joy they have had with winter, summer, spring, and fall....

County Fair

He said you know today will be a day we can spare so
We’re going down to the county fair

So I’m happily calling off work just
Because lately my boss has been a jerk
And I need some fresh air

And I know that hot, hot sun will get to us some
But I am not in a hurry today
Let’s ride the Ferris wheel, the gravity spinning wheel,
And we will relax and just chill

I know we will stroll around the whole fair grounds
Until we have made our way all around
And that is okay with me

Then I will buy us lunch
After we have ridden all the rides
And think it’s enough for a while

I know you are going to try to get me to go on one of those crazy dumb rides
That turns you upside down while taking you for a ride
As your stomach twists and turns in knots,
But today that is one this I cannot do
But I will watch while you do

I know at around 10 pm tonight this county fair will be shutting down
And we will have to go home and wait
Until the next time they have the county fair in town

Darkness

When you go walking alone in the dark
Sometimes you can feel your heart start beating fast
As your breathing heavy sometimes you run
When you feel like somethings following you,
And with all the sounds you hear,
You never know what could be out there ,
So I hope you are aware that there is
so many things that creep and crawl around
in that pitch black dark darkness,
Sometimes its just a shadow,
Sometimes its just a wild animal,
Sometimes you don’t know,
But would you want to see what is out there
Creeeping around in the dark,
Because it just may make your heart
beat faster,
And as you run it just may creep up past you
So I would rather just know,
and beware that there are so many things lurking around
out in the dark darkness

Military Wife

Today I will just be looking out my window while it rains, because just hearing the sound of the thunder gives me a feeling comfort and as the lightning strikes it’s as if its telling me that it is feeling my pain in the same way –
And as these tears keep feeling in my eyes I remember that I’m still going to be alone once again tonight Which is the hardest part of being a military wife but as long as I have you I promise to be as strong as I can be for us—
Deep inside I hide all my sadness and worries when I am around our friends not wanting them to know these thoughts of you never end, because they just wouldn’t understand why I am weak and on my knees just trying to keep believing in your safety, As I pray each day for you to just come home and sometimes late at night I wonder if you feel as alone as I do, oh- and do you wish to be with me the way I wish I was with you,
Do you think of me the way I think of you, do you toss and turn threw out the whole night wishing that you were holding me tight, oh- and do you dream of me when your all alone at night, I know you understand how I feel, And that my love for you isn’t fake and that its real, And when I am thinking of you I imagine I can feel your every move, Your every breath with each and every step I take, I just believe that no matter what your safe, and As long as you need me the way I need you I will be strong for you for the rest of my life as your military wife.
Tonight I will just be looking out my window while it rains, because just hearing the sound of the thunder gives me a feeling comfort and as the lightning strikes it’s as if its telling me that it is feeling my pain in the same way –
And as these tears keep feeling in my eyes I remember that I’m still going to be alone once again tonight Which is the hardest part of being a military wife but as long as I have you I promise to be as strong as I can be for us—

I'M a Country Man

I’m a country man living in this beautiful land
Every day seeing how lucky I am
When I drive into the city
Because the woman are so pretty
Inside and out
They are filled with beauty
From the legs, to the hair,
All I can do is smile and stare
Sometimes I wave here and there
To these pretty girls that are everywhere
Oh when I have had a long day at work
And I am feeling like I need to smirk
I just drive in to the city
Because the woman are so pretty
And sometimes when I am at the city bar
So many girls are there looking pretty good when they dance
So I flash them a smile
Hoping for a little romance that will last
Cause I’m a country man living in this beautiful land
I wanta settle down with the prettiest one in this town
Yes I am a country man
Oh I am just a country man living in the city
Where the woman are so pretty

Dad

When I think of the word “Dad”
It always makes me so glad
Because a father’s love like yours
Is the best love a daughter like me can have.

A Dad is someone who show’s love
In all they say and do
Walking hand and hand
To guide you and lead you
The Lord’s way.

A Dad has a love that is so deep
Making the big wide ocean seem so small
And I know within my heart I am lucky
Because out of all the Dad’s
I have the best one of all.

Dad throughout all the years
That you have been there for me
I just want to say,
I am truly thankful for you each and every day.

Dad may your Birthday be
Very special, happy, and wonderful just like you
And dad always remember
“I really love you”

Just Push Them All Away

Just push them all away
Just push them all away
Every morning I awake I wear this smile that I must fake
I’ve made to many mistakes
Letting people get close just to suffer another heart break
And just to see I’m all alone
And now I see I am all alone
Course:
People come and people go
No one ever wants to stay
So it’s better to push them all away
Just push them all away
Just push them all away
Just push them all away
I feel the pain is closing in
Stabbing me like a knife again and again
Making me wonder why I try to make friends
When I know how it’s going to end
Each and every step I take
I feel my heart racing
And as I try to catch my breath
I see I am one step closer to the edge
With depression all around me
And the walls caving in
Everytime you try to get closer to me
I am afraid to let you in again

Course:
People come and people go
No one ever wants to stay
So it’s better to push them all away
Just push them all away
Just push them all away
Just push them all away
I feel the pain is closing in
Stabbing me like a knife again and again
Making me wonder why I try to make friends
When I know how it’s going to end

Just push them all away
Just push them all away
Just push them all away
Just push them all away
People come and people go
No one ever wants to stay
So it’s better to push them all away

Santa Baby

Santa baby, I‘ve been thinking so much of you lately,
And I’ve been wishing I could hold you close more than once a year.

Oh Santa baby I think maybe you will see things my way
Once you hurry down my chimney tonight?

Oh Santa Darling don’t you know that I’ve been
Such a good girl for you this year,

Can’t I be just a little naughty?
Santa honey I just want you to hold me close tonight,

And I will even let you kiss me under the mistletoe,
Oh Santa baby, the only gift I want this year is you, and nothing else will do.

Santa baby I’m not asking for too much this year,
Because all I want for Christmas is you.

Every Storm

Get out your guitar
And meet me in the yard
We will play a country song
Yeah we will bang bang bang
Tell the storm comes in—
I like the thunder and all its noise
I like the lightning flashing in the dark blue sky
I like the rain pouring down hard
I even like a little hail
I like the music each storm makes as they put on a show
Some even leave a rainbow
Come on Come on -----
Get out your guitar
And meet me in the yard
We will play a country song
Yeah we will bang bang bang
Tell the storm comes in— Yeah we will bang bang bang

Silver Tears

Today I am sitting here by the phone hoping there is a chance that my soilder will call
Remembering the last time that we had spoke he said” I will be home in a year or two, and honey not to worrie you but if you don’t hear from me just know that I will always love you.
Sometimes it’s not easy, but I am going to think postive with my hopes up so high,
I know I am emotional with out you by myside, I even miss being able to turn over to kiss you in middle of the night,
And when I see that your not there in bed next to me,
Or even when I am walking down the street,
That’s when these silver tears begin to fall, and I just keep hoping you are alright.
Yes I have to believe deep inside that you are alright,
Because there are so many things that will make a grown woman cry, like when her soilder has gone to do his duty for his country. She knows what can happen, but for her soilder she remains so strong to help him carrie on, even when he is not calling,
And these silver tears wont stop falling,
Instead she says to her self, honey I know you are somewhere in the world,
And I imagin seeing you in my dreams as you stand proudly, and bravely in your uniform, fighting for our land. And in your eyes I can see these silver tears sparkling like stars. You may be far way, but I hope you can still feel my love, like I feel your love when I am blue, or just missing you.And I promise to stay strong while you do what you do
And even if I cry a few silver tears.I will carrie you in my heart all day long,
Knowing somewhere in the world there are other military families crying sliver tears,
For there loved ones too,
So today I am going to sit here by the phone,
Knowing I am not alone, and these silver tears wont last too long, because I am strong for us.
