May, An Even, An Odd, a Joke On Me.

April winks and breath to breath,
It prepares to take your breath away, her breath away, his breath
Nothing familiar, but nothing too strange,
Two hearts destined tied in future fate
Strangers no more and lovers no less,
Then May welcomes a new caress
And with wondering hearts, wondering thoughts dance,
So new and fragile fresh and sacred,
May welcomes a new love

Years like birds fly with no shame,
And clouds play, rule the sky and disperse
One year, even year, eight two thousand,
Lovers up and down but still alive, a fire still survives,
Two years, odd year, nine two thousand,
And still nothing can break those beautiful dancers,
Third year, final even, a sound so strange, full of treason
One last laugh September brings with its fall feigned good fortune,
Then in creeps winter, secrets unfold, lovers behold a crossroad,
Let go of the puppet strings, let go of her strings, but no…
Four, and back to an even, back to April,
Love is a time bomb and he plays her with his eyes,

You cried, I know, and no less did I,
Spring roses grow, you gave me one to keep a smile alive,
You laughed, decided a made up mind, swore to never look behind,
But your heart was really closing, and don’t lie, I know you’ve known it,
So you throw a May’s love back in a May’s day,
The second, an even, how could you deceive it?
Swallow your words, you know they’ve been forced, those cloaked swords
I swear to never believe them again, I swear to take no word of your love to heart,
May, an even, with God blessed love, unreturned love,
May, an even, a five however, an odd…
‘Jokes on you’, you say…jokes on me.

Befriend Death

I speak death,
He speaks death,
She speaks death,
They speak it too,
Loud and clear, mute and sheer, it speaks us too
Tell me of the mark it left in your heart
Tell me of the sound it made that night,
The words it forced out of their mouths,
Tell me of the tears it jerked out of their eyes.

No heart of steel can break out of its chains,
No mastermind can outsmart its moves,
For death is the core of the deepest wounds,
The criminal fate we can never remove

So befriend death,
Not all kinds of misery enjoys solitude
So befriend death,
Take it quietly to the side, ask it to take you too,
And befriend death,
Let it win you over, there isn’t anything worth it,
When you befriend death,
It’ll show you places, you’ve never heard of…

Befriend death – the world won’t give you better than what it’s got to offer
I’ll befriend death, take it, let it take me, light on, light off-
Friends.

I Have Drowned

Leave my hands safely, and kiss my forehead softly,
Nobody will ever see my heart again
Just like drowning, it’s beautiful, being saved is tragic
I miss drowning, drowning, falling, awakening,
Crying, laughing, hurting, drowning
Drown. The beauty isn’t in the water that pulls you under
The beauty is in the helplessness of the body
Nobody shall ever see me drown again

Spirits are friends you cannot trust,
And trust itself is no friend at all
But everybody falls into its arm because we’re drowning
Drowning is beautiful, believe me, I’ve drowned
Drowned in his eyes, his words, his laugh, his worst,
His best, his all, his nothing, his everything, his heart
Drown. Won’t you? You will, once you love
Nobody can ever see my love again

Here’s a flower to tear your heart out
To freeze the blood that flows in your veins
To penetrate your soul and laugh at you
A flower, is a friend you cannot trust,
It dies too fast, and takes its beauty along, it is selfish
So here is a flower, to leave you disappointed
To drown you in fair beauty and poison,
Drown…

Trust is no friend at all, lets drown in trust,
In love, in feelings, in curses, in hearts, in pain, in sadness
Drowning is beautiful. Believe me, I have drowned
