Secrets

She's nervous, she's scared,
Anxiety, tampers with her head.
Friendless and lonely 'cause no one really cares.
Secrets she's keeping, burying in her mind,
Creeps out and haunts her every single time.

Happy, laughing, helping so much souls,
She's hiding, crying and no one even knows.
Her family are bullies, pushing her down,
No one to turn to, she's all on her own.

The mask is breaking, she's falling apart,
But there she's smiling with a shattered heart.
Negativity surrounds her, stealing her away,
She's lost hope in humanity in every possible way.

At night she wakes, to protect herself
From any danger towards her health.
Drugs forcing its way to her stomach,
Leaving her with minor discomfort.

She wants to have a normal life
Just to be treated like any other child.
But the world is unfair and she's its victim
She's officially at rock bottom.

Toxic Love

Despise my love, for I am a masochist,
Don't restrain on your hatred for me,
Instead abuse me with your words,
Because the love I possess, is not of your world.
My love is ambivalent,
Although very apathetic,
So don't tell me you love me,
don't tell me you care.
Love is just a figment of our imagination
And being loved is my fear.
The pain gratifies me,
put scars on my soul.
Love me how you hate me,
hate me how I love you
Paint me with insults,
But don't tell me that you love me.

Where Did It All Went Wrong?

I feel nothing but estrangement,
Trapped in a phase as a cavemen.
Wandering in search of reality,
Came back with a fraction of sanity.

A peculiar girl with enormous dreams,
Extravagant zeal to see others succeed.
A social butterfly, spreading her wings,
Only to end up tumbling again.

Tossed and pulled, battled and bruised,
She smiles and laugh to cover the news.
At night she cries, cutting her thighs,
Praying to God to end her life.

I know there's others scuffling to survive,
I ought to stay strong and strive for its rights.
My charismatic charm, my sociable ways,
Can't do no harm, just create brighter days.

To My Love

There's not a day that goes by,
That I don't wish to see your smile,
Or that bright sparkle that rekindles your eyes.

Engulfed in contentment and peace,
I've finally found hope in humanity.
But we're broken souls,
Trying our best not to be hurt.

Abstaining from the pleasures of the world,
Distancing ourselves as we go.
Lingering questions left unknown,
Indecisive decisions ought to be shown.

Past lives, broken trust,
Betrayal and anger, hatred and lust.
I know it's hard to open up,
But give me a chance to show you love

I felt numb, not happy or depressed.
I had no feelings, they took what was left,
But you were my *hiraeth*, that I see now,
And I'd love you even on my last breath.

If you must go, I'd leave a blank page,
In case you decide to return.

Who Is She?

She is an unbothered soul living her life,
Trying her best to make it right.
Temptations are wicked, they're running her down,
Narrowing every corner, to steal her crown.
Now that she fell, temptation has won,
He's playing in her mind like a favorite song.

She's fighting her battle, she's trying her best
But like drugs, it's her state of rest.
She's hurting inside, she's dying of pain,
Every day she's crying again.
She stays in her room and starves herself,
Because she's too stubborn to ask for help.

She needed a distraction she needed a friend,
To feed her affection, to aid her health.
That's when she met someone else.

She wanted to find peace, so she turned to him,
Only to end up being hurt again.
He broke her heart and betrayed her trust,
Maybe he was only there for lust.

Her family are clueless, they don't seem to care.
No wonder she's secretive and living in fear.
She's always nervous, worrying about life,
Whether the choices she made were right.

She knows she can never erase the past,
So she's forced to love with a broken heart.
Misunderstood girl, encountered with the world,
Has now became a bothered soul.

Obsessed

Soft hands, intertwined with mine,
Increasing my grip, for we have no time.

Your bright eyes, your beautiful smile,
Down to my knees, I fall again.

Mon amour, you belong to my heart,
A tear falls to the thought of our depart.

Your soft hug comforting my wounds,
But I can't seem to let go of you...

Abandoned Or Abandoned?

Stories, stories that was told on to me,
"A woman so pretty, with her flawless eyes.
Soft lips, clear skin and her hair dancing tonight."
My reflection, grudgingly I dared not to peek,
In my shadow that lady was me,
But I've waited so long with such zeal.
And finally today I turn eighteen!
I advance towards the mirror room
And from first glance,
My heart,
It bloomed.
"M-mother, you're beautiful but-"
My heart is pounding,
The tears won't stop.
"why did you leave me..Why did you go?
Screaming at a lady I have yet to know.

My dearest,
Wherever you may be,
I'm sorry that they took you,
Away from me.
The love of a mother will always run deep,
And nights are where I fail to sleep.
To feel your touch,
I'd give the world,
And in my prayers,
I speak your name.
I don't have long for no one's time's the same.
If somehow you find me near,
I plea you forgive me
And wipe thy tear.
Life was a game
And I played it through,
With the regret of losing you.
There are shadows, I dread and hope you don't meet,
That battered before,
I turned eighteen.

I was an addict. Young and free.
Enticed by the drugs, I fell in deep.
When I learned about my girl,
I turned a blind eye.
But I was already embroiled in the game.
They thrust me to the ground again.

Stumped on my stomach,
They spat on my face,
Said I had no choice
That this was the life that I made.
Before I could hide you,
Before I could fight,
The authorities took you,
Before you came into sight.

Reminisce

Today I sat in one with my thoughts,
Unanswered questions lingering abrupt.
I glimpsed a couple that passed me by,
Intertwining hands and genuine smile.
My heart skipped a beat and I wondered why,
Unfortunately I was disoriented for a while.

What is love, how does it feel?
What are emotions, are they even real?
What I had, I thought was true,
Maybe I'm a fool to have fallen for you.

Trusted my heart but you proved her wrong,
When put to the test, you left her to drown.
You're no different, maybe worse,
I don't hate you but it low-key hurts.

Imprisoned Heart

Music is my source of escape,
For when the night pours its sadness on me.
My heart resides in that place,
For when my thoughts starts bullying me.

Lent everyone my ear but never my secrets
When the world isn't here, there's no one to see it.
They think they know me but they are gullible,
To be deceived but I'm often quiet.

I'm stingy with my heart, she's in captivity,
At the watching hour, I gaze regrettably.
She wants to love but is unvalued,
For this cruel world, ingratiates to her.
Scheming of ways to keep her here,
Because I've learnt that no one really cares.

Hidden Truth

He said that the beauty in him had died,
But I saw the transparency within his lies.
He said that he's happy *portraying a smile*,
But I saw a different world, hidden in his eyes.

The way he laughs to conceal his pain,
How he distracts himself by playing these games.
His heart, wounded but bigger than oceans,
Pure and innocent with hidden emotions.

He's only strong in the presence of others,
But when he's alone, he sees the silhouette of her.
The midnight memories lingering about,
Chasing him down, refusing to stop.

He's scared to love so he works on himself,
Hoping she'd notice the pain that he felt.
I can see it in him that he's trying his best,
Though the night's wicked, stealing his rest.
