The Poet Rambles

the truth never told me a lie; if one writes a thousand poems one has a thousand poems written; everyone sees the sky as blue; Chicken Little is the only one the poet knows to see the sky as falling, therefore, the poet can imagine what it must be like to wonder if the sky will fall on her too. Oh, and by the way it can happen because of you know that law (No, not Murphy's Law ((gotcha)) ), Godel's law. Well, time for a dictionary hey?! And even funnier, the poet doesn't have any screws loosw since the nuts and bolts of the poet are adjusted quite well anyways. Well, scrap that concept, the poet doesn't actually exist except for in some macabre, abstract, poetic, humanistic, peaceful way that for sure will cease within the next one hundred years. Therefore, the poet so shall choose to be the Biggest frickin', flippin' "Dreamer Be" in such a Divine sense as to ponder all things and mark the poet's fingerprints on life in sizzlin' accordance with the poet's law which is as follows: "Skip your mundane penchant for life and live a new existence-- exchange a size small life for a ginormous size dream life!" Skip to the beats with fervid heat. Off my soap box now, the poet puts her words into action-- Lights, Action, Creation. Dreamer Girl gives way to her Big Heart!

Integrity

I ignite integrity
Nice new news
Tell tales telling
Easily enter eternity
Gracious giving gained
Right road renewed
Inner intelligence intended
Tell the truth
Yes you're you!

A Bluebird Carries a Mother's Voice

A bluebird carries a mother's voice
Beyond the rain and dark season
Of a love of her child
Through tribulations and trials
Loyalties so strong
to honor the mother-child bond
A silver umbilical cord uncut
Between them and the Pure White One
The mother's voice carried by the bluebird
And is heard by The Greatness
And then an answer comes
No one can severe the special mother-child bond

Self-Love

it's good to be me
i've been set free

i like waking up in my own skin
i can't wait to wake up again and again

i pamper myself with kind words
my future burns bright as i look forward

towards the light contrasting
of my salvation everlasting

my life was meant to be
there's goodness inside of me

A Feminist "can'T"

Can't tell us can't
For our immense pleasure of a broad recant

Cause we know we can walk on the ceiling
While we know just what is the feeling

As it may be a scare if too many are up there
As life squirms and men fall under exposing inferiority fears

No longer "king of the mountain" or "big dog on top"
We're moving upwards and we'll never stop

Our flock will sing on a mountain high
As small as it may be, we'll rejoice with a sigh

We'll claw our way up the ladder
While we know just what is the matter

Is it wrong for ladies to have ambition for the race
To ask for a raise and command praise

However so, we know the lovely birds will follow
For our life we never let a man swallow

Life As a Charm Bracelet

Life as a charm I wear on my arm
silver heart I wear as my internal alarm

to wake up to the sunshine that's never to fade
and those who have fun have it made

smile charm I wear for happiness so real
this one all can have, so this one please steal

unicorn charm to frolic through the meadow
clovers in abundance through which my bike I pedal

meditations so sweet, my own retreat
imagery of daisies, glories, and lilacs so sweet

musical note charm follow's with my tunes
classical melodies that end all too soon

in the quitude of a mellow night
all by myself, the chorus to hold on tight

life is a lot like charms I wear on my arm
all the symbols we love; like mom charm

lets' us know life is such a gifted charm
therefore, we must disarm, like a farm

Sahara Desert

Sacred oven like heat
A place where mirages thrive
Desert winds bloom high
Dreaming of rainfall, I pray
Tic Toc, that rain will quench

You Bring Out the Best In Me

You bring out the best in me
So, just leave the rest to me

We'll sail on a cruise
Afterward's we'll say our I do's

Because baby, you bring out the best in me
So, just leave the rest to me

I'll make all our plans for a honeymoon
Moonscapes, quiet escapes, landscapes, to happen soon

We'll take our vows by the ocean
Big crashing waves down in motion

I'll wear black
and you wear hues of pink for slack

We'll have white doves fly
We'll offer our love to the sky

It'll be for forever
You're my friend and lover steady as a river

Rivers, seas, oceans, bays, ponds, lakes tell a story of our love
On our ocean cruise we'll share our love trove

To do or not
Let's go for it and tie the knot!

leaves the sound of yesterday
