Pure Spirit

You shattered my spirit
and wounded the heart
belittled my reason to be.
Did you think it diverts attention from Ghoul
who is hiding in your hideous soul?

But little you know about pure spirit,
that cannot be extinguished.
It’s still alive, glows under ruins of my soul,
it will not be vanquished.

No doubt I will rise again,
this will reveal the truth.
That free spirit then,
will heal, will mend, will soothe.

Escape From a Plague of Pain

She searched for Paradise,
instead,
the road led her to a land of demise.
A plague of pain had rolled out on this land,
it had spread across, through the evil tongue.

She looked around,
mainly
suppressed souls were found.
Silent roars of their sufferings extend for miles,
screams were suffocated, behind fabricated smiles.

Foul tongues were twisted together,
gathered under narcissistic scarves.
Sharp words were wounding each other
tearing their inner selves in halves.

In contrast, she chose to rise above,
reconnect with her spirit,
She surrendered to love,
God became her guide in living.

You can search, but you will not find,
if you are looking from amongst blind.
Pure spirits are floating high in the sky,
join them by freeing your soul, letting it fly.

Tune in to the rhythm of your soul,
feel the God, He guides your move,
peace lies on the path to wholeness,
don’t stop until you reach its brightness.

Go

I see the eyes reflecting pain
Confused by the cruelty of world
You allow yourself to be tied by chains
believing your freedom is furled.

Why follow the glow of your scars?
Why hide in alienation?
Why swim in those painful memoirs
Abandoned hope for salvation.

You are standing still, suffering alone
struggling with indecision, all I hear is moan.
Vastness prevails outside your comfort zone
Realize that everyone’s future is unknown.

I cannot promise you anything lavish
Nor a life packed with ease and cheer
But if you stay, the ruins of your spirit will vanish
What remains is chaos, suffering, and fear.

Royal Clown

I used to walk heedlessly, that’s why I met people vibrating at low frequency.
Eventually, I had to find my own authenticity, stop moving ahead needlessly.
To do so, I had to acknowledge myself, find out what I actually want,
study my weaknesses, past mistakes, accept reality so taunt.

This journey unveiled a beautiful soul and heart so bright.
Came out, you were wrong all along, I’m not the blight,
rather a rare mind that is filled with delight.

But you knew that already, hence it terrified you.

For you, rejecting me was the only way for surviving,
Just as brightness chokes darkness, good vibes are outrivaling.

You have sealed your world and you protect it well.
Letting anything disturb it, would destroy you as well.
Your ears are guards, holding sieves of speech, keeping away messages that might breach.
Your eyes are shields, reflecting images so old, rejecting everything unknown.
Your mouth is a king that sits on the throne of a heart. That poor majesty, twisted in painful agony.

Difficulties in life are supposed to make us climb,
yet some of us prefer to grime.
The one who tries to escape or hide,
fools himself with an utmost crime.
It takes courage to admit and forgive.
Breaking free is a choice to gain relief.

Either be a prisoner of your kingdom
or a free mind, who has gained wisdom.
No one else is to blame,
when you have decided to fail.
In the end, lying has earned you a ridiculous crown
and a coronation ceremony for a royal clown.

Eighth

Last year has passed and a new one began,
You have grown and become a young man.
This year is the eighth in your lifespan,
make it memorable and follow God’s plan.

Reach your milestones one by one,
Value small things and everyone.
Notice signs that are sent from above,
these are reminders that you are beloved.

Some days you may wish to be Batman.
or want to be friends with Spiderman.
But you are already a hero of your own clan,
Loved, cared for, and admired, precious son.

For My Son

Time moves, leaving traces in the heaven,
Each passing year creates new memories,
Now starts already the year number seven,
May it be filled with joy that lasts for centuries.

Eight

The sky and the earth gave witness to your birth.
Sun smiles and Moon nods, while you build your life on Earth.
Now you are already Eight in age; may you reach the late adulthood stage.
While you march the path of life, don’t forget al-Akhirah, your afterlife.
Save pleasant memories, they are your chest of treasuries.
Learn from life lessons, knits sent you to guide from the heavens.
Sometimes you have to let go, other times go with the flow.
These eight years have been awesome, yet your life is about to blossom.
