But Me

You know when you are in grave self-doubt
Thinking about that one big great impossible dream?
A kind of thing that destiny decides, so all the people who dare to dream know what this is about
Those feelings of embraced accomplishment which is only in our minds but still makes us want to scream

The adrenaline rush after just one glimpse of your so-called “one-day” day
The smile of pride, the costly car, the immense respect, and the eyes of tear
A thought whose level of impossibility is to such an extent that you think twice even if you know the way
The mild stones, the late nights, the futile distractions, the early mornings when all that’ll clear

You imagine thinking of the start
Years ago about your illogical choice
You think of keeping the one last hope in your cart
When you listened to that cracked voice

You thought anyone mentally stable would learn the lesson
But you knew that there’s a very thin line between a genius and a mad
When you didn’t care about society or your impression
You thought you’d try once more so you wouldn’t be sad

You commanded your brain to think and not be lazy
You once more had the urge to be called the queen
But you knew to be a genius you must think crazy
Or else you’ll end up just like the last time- unseen

I knew anyone smart wouldn’t, but me
I knew anyone mature enough wouldn’t, but me
Anyone not faithful enough wouldn’t, but me
Instead anyone passionate enough, like me

		Would Will and Do It
		Work, Struggle and have it
		Fight, Suffer and Own It
		Smile, Accept and Earn it

Anyone not faithful enough wouldn’t, BUT ME
