Ella Chandler Poem
We are taught not to like ourselves,
from a young age
it is a shame to know you are beautiful,
yet beauty is in everyone,
why can't we see that,
see our worth,
without seeking validation from others.
one day you will shout it from the rooftops
you are beautiful.
after years of not feeling worthy,
you will realise you are.

Ella Chandler Poem
I am thankful,
I am so lucky,
yet at times I cry,
filled with sorrow,
not quite knowing where I belong,
wanting to escape the world,
for a moment I forget,
forget that I am loved,
I am lucky,
yet I cry,
will future me look back on now,
with nostalgia,
or with sadness,
that I felt pain so deeply,
but with so much to be thankful,
I am guilty,
one day I will be okay,
not yet.
but one day.

Ella Chandler Poem
feline royalty,
worshipped by all,
all-knowing eyes,
judging other's loyalty,
decades pass,
yet there they stay,
the sacred leaders,
ruling over many.

Ella Chandler Poem
The light that shines from within you,
When you look at me,
Sparks something unusual,
An uneasy feeling,
Somehow the darkness disappears,
I see myself through your eyes,
I am beautiful,
I am actually worthy of love.
