Icarus and the Sun

Every day and night
I sit within my tower.
The sun scorching with all its might
Waiting to melt me and drag me lower.

The dream to escape my confinement
Avoiding the Sun’s wrath to make me trip.
I still have to fulfil the requirements
To break free of the haters’ grip.

Sun and Moon

We were made for each other,
you and I,
But we are forced to separate.
An hour a day only together,
what little time we have to cooperate.

You bring light and warm in day,
I bring light and romance at night.
We have lots of words to say,
When we have one little sight.

Sun.
Moon.

Trapped In Love

You stood before me,
Smile o’ so bright,
The plate of mush you gave me,
I've always feasted at night.

A reached my hand out,
Wishing for just one word,
Yet you whisked away,
Leaving me o' so hurt.

The metal bars I rest within,
The 'love' you so called,
Yet it feels o' so cold,
Even with my burning heart.

Next time you come my way,
I beg you to stay,
As the 'friend' you so called,
I bid you again,
Farewell.

The Sun and the Earth

I am always around you
No matter where you go
Day after day, it never felt boring looking at you
You have strongly attracted me
just like gravity

Slowly and gently you shine on me
Warming up every part of me
Making me lively
Without you,
I am but a frozen, dead planet

My Friend, My Family

My friend my friend
Supporting me anywhere
Acting like my mom
Caring me anytime

My friend my friend
Sharing your feelings
Solving the problem
You are always my family

Love Comes Quietly

Love come quietly,
Finally, drops
About me, on me
in the old ways

What did I know
Thinking myself
Able to go
Alone all the way

A Fish and a Bird

I am a fish
A fish who has a wish
The wish was to fly
To find my beloved in the sky
I would even die,
just to see

Up the sky lived a bird
A bird who loved the fish
Which is truly absurd
They know it is a love with no peace nor ending
But they do not want to give up each other
Because of love

Parallel Lives

parallel lines
lines that never meet
is this a sign
to declare our defeat

what if we break the rules?
will we still lose?
I wish we won't
cause I love you

The Equation of Love

Now let's imagine an equation where the 2 of ‘me’ us can make a ‘we’

A + B = C

Although you think this might be us

I assure you that it means something else entirely

And for this to be you and me,

You have to give me a part of the angelic you

And I have to give you a part off the devilish me

And that, we know is not happening my lovely

Now, how about we rewrite the equation

A x B =AB

This equation, although promising, will hurt
believe me.

On paper it might look happy, but that is far from reality my lovely

‘How’ you may ask

Well it's simple really

I won't understand you

And you won't understand me

In the end, we're just two factors in the same equation really…

Magnetic Romance

Opposite poles attract
Like poles repel
This is a scientific fact
Are we meant for each other
Only time will tell

We are meant for each other
Our love is perfect
You and I are forever
Darling, I truly love you
Will you accept?
