Globalization

you can travel the world and meet new people
Praying in different churches and see the steeple
learning from each other

Globalization where you can spread democracy
but have the audacity
oppress the weaker
The leader is the later
Where the poor gets poorer
Where the rich gets richer
want a change but cannot look in the mirror.

How Humans Used Globalization

Where has all this brought us
Into the void or into the better?
It should be an advantage
But is it really like this?

The arms were opened to humanity
But humanity uses them like tissues when you have a cold
As if all this had no disadvantages
But is it really like this?

The arms were opened to humanity
But humanity has only exploited this
The did not appreciate it and soiled the world
Globalisation - and it will get worse

And work as an spy

Climate Change

Climate change

Humans are the problem
They´re the ones to blame
Because of them the world´s so solemn

They don´t fear anything,
They have no shame
Not even of the Almighty who turns everything

and they will greatly suffer for it
and bear the consequences
as soon as they die and the hellfire is lit

our beautiful earth has been destroyed
which is so upsetting
but please don´t worry it will be alright.

Change

Change
(by Nora)

The oceans shine so bright.
The glaciers bring a breathtaking sight.
The forests make a perfectly, peaceful place at night.

There aren't any problems, right?

What we don't see,
due to the deep darkness within the sea,
is that underneath
there are fish that choke on something that is not seaweed.

What we don't notice,
because barely a being talks about this prognosis.
Is that sooner and later,
coastal states, islands and villages will be drowned by water.
Their people will be begging for shelter.

What we don't hear,
are the screams of hiding, fleeing, burning animals in fear.
The already dried out rainforest caught fire.
All this for one group’s desire.
The lungs of earth are slashed and burnt.
All this pain for profit and gain.

This can't be the truth, right?

Creeping fire, burning it's way through wood and flesh. Taking
lives as if it's in a video game to catch.
Hungry polar bears, thin to their bones. Suffering and seeking
   for their homes.
Animals near the oceans dying deaths to plastic pollution. On
beaches you find treasures, dig deep, the treasures are buried in trash.
No place is safe from natural disasters anymore. The
occurrences leave the people sore. Safety and help is what many are hoping for.
Great loss of forests and homes. Then fire and coal go hand in
hand towards where the companies stand.
Everything is out of line. But at least some are doing fine.

Love

Love

I fight for love
I cry for love
I die for love

All of this for you to love
Even though it´s not enough

I love because I´m brave
until I´m in my grave

Generational Problems

A world full of madness
equals people with sadness

Is the glass half empty or half full?
Nobody would know because everything seems dull

And so here we are again
With a new crack
And a new lack
Doing what we're told
Till we're too old

Lack of Inspiration

Right now I'm sitting here in my dark room
late at night, with a school project to do.

My thoughts wandering of
looking for inspiration,
but I'm to tired
got no motivation.

I'm thinking of topics discussed in English class
but the state of my mind is still a mess.

Suddenly I get a spark of inspiration,
remembering that we talked about "State of the Union"
and the seperation of a nation,
the pain of the world redeemed by globalisation,
but in the end
considered as humiliation.

And there's still no thought I could wrap my mind around,
it's also getting late, time's running out
and now it's mid on a school night
another sleepness evening
but a student has to provide.

Alone

I am alone in this city
Ihm in this city where loneliness haunts me
Ihm in this city like a wall
wehere no one sees or hears me
Ihm trapped in this city
Ihm in this city where everyone
is happy but luck isn´t on my side
Ihm in this city where loneliness haunts me
Ihm trapped in this city by my loneliness
but the time will come
when the loneliness will break
I will flee from this city
I will find my happiness
with the person I love
I will never forget this city where
I was pierced with so much pain in my heart
I will never forget this city with
everything I have experienced
also the loneliness is a result
I will never forget
but first I have to break the loneliness
I will escape from my eternal prison
when will that time come
I will wait in this city

The Downfall of a Summernight

Swimming in the pool, we enjoy the sun.
Playing boule, we all have fun.
Everybody loves their food, life is good
Every best friend in one neighborhood

One of few days in some Summertimes.
I love this town with almost no crimes.
Suddenly my phone loudly rings
I start to fly almost like I had wings.

I wonder why my mother calls
She is with my dad at Yosemite Falls
Over the hills, she says they hiked across
And out of nowhere, my dad slipped on pasta sauce

He fell down the hill and broke his leg
Oh thank you god he is not dead!
He was brought to hospital by helicopter
My mother cries and I tried to stop her

All my friends still swimming in the garden
On the TV some highlights of James Harden
Within seconds, my dad is ruined
A beautiful evening with a screwed up end.
