The Butterfly Effect

I'm just a girl who's still a caterpillar
Hoping one day people will see
Will see my potential of breaking through the cocoon

Waiting for that glamourous growth
From inside my little transparent home
Hoping I'll find something that's mine,
After I break the barriers of my own

Waiting for that amazing moment
When I come out of the comfort zone
Hoping they see my body has grown
Hoping they see my life has shone

Waiting to grab everything I can
And not counting my days anymore
Hoping they don't cut off my wings
Hoping they don't tie me back down

I'm just a girl who's now a butterfly
Hoping that freedom is my forever throne

He

HE traced my flaws, read my tattoos
Pulled hard on my piercings
Ran his fingers through my hair
His bite marks on my neck
Next moment, HE thought of her
And walked away
But I couldn't ask him to stay
Left me like a lonely toy
In his lustful world
I was waiting for him
Though it was unfair
For a slut in love

Hey

Our first 'Hey'
When we both sat in the rain
When the clouds were quite moody
Yet my eyes were gloomy
We looked at the moon together
And shared our stories with the stars
I gave up on all the pain
And slowly burried all my scars
I fuelled my life with every smile of yours
I loved that you were mine
Will I still get to see the eyes
That look at me and shine
The words you told became my poetry
The songs u chose became my playlist
I called you my precious gift
And I became a treasurer
Never did I notice when the world turned upside down
Never did I ever think, they'd come for my beautiful crown
We were present and we were perfect
But now they'll rob me till I fall
Cuz when you'll be taken away
I'll lose a part of me, after all.

How do I get back up
How do I stand tall
How do I fix a broken string
So you can hear me call
You'll be with someone else
Someone whose love will be your gain
I'll go for another first "Hey",
Finding myself in the same convo all over again

Silly Games

You wanna play a silly game?
I question him, What?
Tell me if I'm cute or hot
Umm... I'd rather not.
Was I afraid my feelings will be caught?
Maybe but maybe not.
Cute in the morning and Hot by the night
Nevertheless, everything's a wonderful sight.
When it's about you and me,
The best of both worlds is what I see
You feel like an enchanting Holiday glee
Hmmm... Actually, I agree.
Hey, still wanna play?
Another silly game, u mean to say?
A silly game of 'he loves me, he loves me not'
A silly game of 'do I trust you or not'
A silly game of 'we're just friends'
A silly game of 'let's see how this ends'
A silly game is all it is to say
But we're always wondering which one of us is fair
Does one player win at the end of the game
Or Do they both lose themselves and choose to stay
No matter what results at the end of the day,
By midnight the moonlight would whisper his name.

What Would I Want

When I grow older and become mature
What would I want

When I have the money I need and
Places I want to go
What would I want

When I have the people I need
And gifts I get
What would I want

When I have the freedom to do whatever and whenever it strikes my head
What would I want

When I learn the differences between wants and needs, likes and greeds
What would I want

When I get bored of all the possible human things to have and do
What would I want

At the end of the day when I'm in the same bed as you
What would I want

Silence And Sound

The sound when ur eyelids shutter in the complete silence
The way ur legs keep shivering smtimes
When we can hear our lips gently smacking and the way we kiss
When my fingers walk thru ur hair
When our hands rub against each other
The way you breathe
The way my ears flutter when you whisper
The way ur heart beats
The little giggles when our eyes meet

Paper Planes

A restaurant full of families
And I sit there with mine
A broken one, where none of our souls are combined
Three of us seated and three phones on the table
Waiting for one of us to pick it up and pretend they're stable
Hotel bill in my hands have turned into pretty aeroplanes
But little do they know
My planes don't fly anymore
They are designed to look like they enjoy the skies
Yet my plane still dreams of its first flight
My plane wants to capture the strong gushing winds
And use them all to fuel its wings
A leap of faith is all it wants to take
But after all it's just a paper plane, so it sits in a restaurant as they both empty their plates.
