Easter Poem

It's Easter let me praise his name first,
For he was burried in a tomb of stone and dust,
But on the third day He came to life atlast,
The angel rolled the stone; it didn't burst.

He was the only son of God,
He rode on a colt not a pod,
A spear was thrusted on His bod,
And His body was beset on shame by a horde.

He was crucified for our sins,
That's why we must praise Him with every means,
Preaching His Gospel from Cairo to Orleans,
Because it is on His scars our faith leans.

Happy Birthday Dear Cousin

Five four three two one then boom,
It's his birthday we can't keep calm,
You and I make the very best team,
May God fulfill your greatest dream,
So that like a star you may give gleam,
May your blessings flow like a stream.

He's family and also a friend indeed,
He's driven by passion and not greed,
He works so hard inorder to succeed,
He keeps all promises just as agreed,
Feeds and helps those who're in need,
Having same dreams, we're same seed.

Being my best cousin, he's a blessing,
We're caught on the farms trespassing,
Being mature as his age is increasing,
He hates it when he is broke 'n' loosing,
He is good at dancing and loves to sing,
Here is a toast to you as you are aging.

Engineering Love Poem

I am an Electrical Engineer
But was alone and all was dark
Beneath me and above
My life was full of volts and amps
But not the spark of your love
So will you be the start of my sinusoid?

Dawn in the twilight
With you am on a flight
Your feelings I can't fight
Your beauty is stuck in my sight
My gift from the Lord almighty
Heart full of generousity
Hoovering my religion from Islamic to Chrstianity.
Love...Are you be ready to visit my sub-county.

Happy Birthday To Me

A fresh new birth has come again,
I still have got more in life to gain,
Memories of joy filled in my brain,
Been through downs 'n' mountain,
But I deserve happiness not pain.

It's yet another birthday without a wife,
To lift me up to the heights of joyful life,
Sitting down while holding my penknife,
Always busy thinking about my afterlife,
With less time to spend on my social life.

Can't believe that today is my birthday,
I have set date nineteen as my holiday,
Feels like a weekend but its a weekday,
Maybe  because a star sparkled today,
Being born in the month of June not May.

Chelsea Fc

There is a team in London,
Which consists of youngsters like Mason,
A team greater than Man U 'n Southampton,
A club where love and winning are common.

A team which wears blue,
A club with players who obey's a whistle blew,
It's fans are many and not few,
And they always cheer as the players queue.

A club full of respect,
A football team with no defect,
Whose players always genuflect,
To ensure no racism as a result of dialect.

Meru University Poem

Let's talk about Meru University,
A university filled with diversity,
It's covered by green vegetation,
Flowers to provide beautification,
From the gate to the administration,
Making it a centre of quality education.

Teaching only is not enough,
As it makes syllabus seem tough,
It also supports sports and gaming,
To nature talents of students studying,
It provides digital systems for learning,
To enhance the student's understanding.

Socialization is all over in campus,
In clubs and group work in class,
Students participate in basketball,
They play table tennis and football,
They also play netball and baseball,
And also badminton in the school hall.

My Love

Even when she is away by miles,
Everyday I'm missing her smiles,
Afraid when my messages piles,
But ain't seeing any of her replies,
Her love flies to me like the colies,
She's beautiful wearing the gillies,
She is so different from other girls.

Being a part of my innermost family,
She has been so punctual and timely,
When we've a date she arrives early,
She respects the young 'n' the elderly,
I love it when she's my one and only,
With her am always lively not lonely,
She always seems to be young daily.

Her pretty face glows like a firefly,
She is beautiful just like a butterfly,
Around her I feel like I've wings to fly,
She is not that tall but she's a little sly,
Every minute am waiting for her reply,
She hates arguing, she always comply,
She likes being truthful, she doesn't lie.

Engineering Work

It's through lot of pain and hardwork,
Using lathe machine to do metalwork,
Struggles in doing all the piece work,
The individual work and group work,
Before the product gets a trademark.

Day in day out we advance our skills,
As machines cuts, shapes and drills,
We work with passion to pay our bills,
The bad smell when the coolant spills,
Daily we operate a machine that kills.

As we wear the helmets on our heads,
We operate with dirty and oiled hands,
After plain turning we make metal bends,
Cut the metal into pieces 'n' make threads,
And take rest when the whole project ends.

The Voice of the Poor

We were not born to a throne,
But we ain't poor people zone,
With God we won't walk alone,
Taught by the village and street,
We are to surrender any retreat,
We ain't rich but we don't cheat.

Been waiting for the fateful day,
Because I know it's not far away,
As we all wait, for now we just say,
One day I will take mother to Rome,
Take her out of the streets we roam,
By moving her into a beautiful home.

They have always treated us as fools,
For not attending the national schools,
But we won't accept to be their snools,
Coz we are  Lord's chosen generation,
We will never give in to their oppression,
Coz being successful is our main mission.

Save Palestine

Palestinians pray everyday,
For the Lord to make a way;
Bombing is done each day,
Their skies are red not grey,
Today is same as yesterday,
During the night and midday,
They're afraid of the pathway,
And also being in any quay,
For it ain't a safe place to stay.

Children are loosing parents daily,
Egyptians are on a prowar proudly,
They're still bombing unreasonably,
And attacking Palestinians heavily,
This has to be stopped immediately,
But someone needs to speak loudly,
Condemn the inhumane act publicly,
Ask leaders to solve issues peacefully,
And live in harmony by being a family.
