the alligator had heard that the new beauty shop would dye his scales
He might even have his tail waxed and let them paint his nails
the lady in charge tried to remain calm when he came in the door
Another beautician screamed, and maybe gave a tiny swore
the alligator was patient, and loved his handsome new hue.
You are way too vain said his wife, you look a kind of blue.
Yes, he agreed, azure is what I was going for.
Then with a swish of a tail, he walked out the door.
He forgot to pay the lady told his annoyed little wife.
Here’s your pay, she told her. You have escaped with your life.
I sit and think about all the shoulds
I could get off my duff and do it all
but I like staring out into my lovely woods
enjoying myself this wonderful fall
things need to be cleaned and tidied up
a plethora of messes should be put away
but I enjoy sitting out here with my pup
maybe I will do them all another day
What I say or write,
Might get me deported tonight.
Different from when I was two,
When "Why" and "No" were all I knew.
Growing more inquisitive,
As years went by.
Confronting teachers with what they knew,
Asking "Why" and a question or two.
Final school episode,
Was a flunking grade.
Got an F,
In how I behave.
Not afraid,
Saw a life of questions before me.
Knew I was protected you see,
By the Constitutions "Free Speech".
Now today,
I can be deported.
For what I write,
And say!
There's a vision we hold,
It's value in what has been told,
The reason so many souls are sold,
Working life away to acquire gold,
Molding their existence.
What is it's significance,
The difference from any other stone?
You're only shown you needed some,
Just a little crumb is all you need,
To feed a family in need.
That shimmering greed,
Now poisoning Earth's seeds,
Dirty deeds making enemies,
Turning beauty into pennies.
Keeping people from getting any,
Only creating scrutiny,
Mutiny in reverse.
As the curse is lifted,
Only the gifted can see,
The truth behind money,
I think you'll find it funny.
The value that is assigned,
Is defined within the mind,
Signed by the soul.
Gold stole the power you hold,
Devouring the life you were told,
Was just about growing old,
And watching it all unfold.
Have you sold your life to gold,
What is the value you hold?
Loves hand is outstretched, asking me to walk and talk, making me feel so near.
Love wants me to go and never leave, but love sometimes has to grow and weave.
Love is like a thread and grows and grows till it reaches the stars above, then it shines for all to see, making the light that only true love can make.
Love, your hand is so strong, and I feel you hold mine with all your divine love.
Always and forever, my love, our shining love is bright like a light guiding us through all of this life.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
They say a man's suppose to die when he sees the autumn sun
But I've thrown the dice and stagger forth with what I have become
For daggers thrown and lovers lie in turmoil and in truth
And I'm forgotten with all hope when I was a youth
I say thee not a sword-thrust clean did run me through to bone
With death approaching now I see you reap what you have sown
So carry me not a sailor's death for my life I would behold
To see the end most hurriedly for my story to be told
Life is slipping through my hands
I'm slowly losing control
It's heartbreaking to watch
As it kills my soul
What caused this to happen
It's difficult for me to tell
The pain is still fresh for me
And had to come from hell
My heart has been broken
It happened because of you
You shattered it to pieces
When you said we're through
I believed we were doing well
And together we were happy
But obviously I was wrong
Our problems I didn't see
Now you're moving on with life
While I want to be alone
Your newly found happiness
Has left me to cry and moan
All I ever wanted for you
Was for you to be happy
I guess what hurts the most
Is it's not being with me
Title: Silence
Written javascript thepoet
Silence
if silence could speak
loud than words
it would echo through my eaching born
it would speak a language of the unknown
a myth to yet discovered, it would
unvilled like the hidden cloth of secret barried to human eyes
it would creep around the darkness just to feet
in the silent moment of untold story
silence
An emotion that has no motion.
it screams when all is in mute
silence is eyes that can see;
Lungs that can breathe, and ears that can hear;
For silence sees what no body can bear to see;
In that moment of silence
Silence is like a voice washed in waves of tranquility its Without words but yet special in verse and rhyme
Hidden in nature’s .silence is the grace within the art like whistle in the dark
embraces your fear
as It deepens your tear
its like death brought to life
It’s a moment of silence
a fear behind the strength
a sound more piercing then anything
A million graves
One life but too many
Rivers of tears flowing endlessly
A stench of death in the atmosphere
Can't you see,we are dying here!
Even though our eyes cry endless tear
Flies like bodies drop every minute
Glass like hearts are broken to pieces
Tired of reading these Rest in peaces'
As though stars are granting the devil's wishes
To let as rest in peace
The real tragedy is the death of the living
The ones who can't keep up with all this grieving
The families breaking
The breadwinners losing
One positive case
Ten children starving
A hundred families broken
A thousand sources of income closing
A million graves of people ,Just walking
Dead men walking ?????
When the days grow shorter and rain clouds Fill the sky
Trees no longer have green leaves and the flowers Begin to die
Nights are drawing in and the days are getting shorter
Mist rolling up the valley streams with ice
In the water
But time does not stop and winter will fade away
When the dark cold will be no more and
We have the start of warmer day
Thats When the leaves on the trees turn green and the birds will start to sing.
So remember that winter will eventually end and new life will start in spring.
As I stand before the pearly gate
I reflect upon the hands of fate
The nature of my swift demise
That caught us all; quite by surprise
Reflections on a life well lived
Proud of what I’ve had to give
Pleased with those I leave behind
No desire to press rewind
What has been my claim to fame?
Will those left still know my name?
My life has been a lesson learned
The love I felt was surely earned
I leave behind my finest treasure
Love and knowledge beyond all measure
Future faith in life restoring
To build a world more reassuring
If You're Looking For
Salvation, You Know
It's Not A Sin...
You're Always
Welcome To Leave!

Let me express my complete emotions
Give all to him who's vast as earth's oceans
He’s handsome and slightly tall
He’s my up lifter whenever I fall
If I can’t spend my days with him on earth
Tell me what’s my life really worth
I’m willing to show him the worst of me
That’s how an undying love should be
He’s my soul-mate for eternity
Together we can embrace this journey of life
With endless sincerity
I love him from the bottom of my heart
And no-one can break us apart
This love of ours will never perish
He’s the man I’ll always cherish
In this world, I may never find
Another man like him who’s one of a kind
I want to give him my all
But words are not enough to say
I rather show him how I feel in every way.
I could barely juggle my job and my life
the bumper car freeway caused me oodles of strife
to and from school, it was a circus for sure
the drivers are mean, their motives impure
the clown dance I had to do at work was annoying
the children who were rewarded were the ones always toying
the principal had all of us teachers on a merry-go-round
we never felt respected, the place was not sound.
We are the sum, we are the whole,
A product twined by every soul.
We are the cast, we are the mold,
Defined by lies and truths we’ve told.
We are the plague, we are the cure,
Old minds corrupt and young hearts pure.
We are the wars, we are the peace,
We’re life’s first breath and death’s release.
We're every voice, we're every tongue
We are the rests in anthems sung.
The artist's brush, the sculptor's clay:
We are the canvas on display.
We’re rushing flood, we’re scorching drought,
Saint Peter’s faith, Saint Peter’s doubt.
We are the loaf, we are the crumb,
We are the whole, we are the sum.
