Funny How Time Seems To Fly
"Funny how time seems to fly." Grandma would say as she caught up with a school mate from years gone by. "It seems only yesterday we were just finding life exciting with so much to try." "And now here we are reflecting on those wonderful years gone by." "Funny how time seems to flash." Uncle Lyman would quip when he finished a tale about this or that from the past. "How could it be? All that is left is the memory of each adventure to rehash." "Reliving those days draws me back to a better time from the past". "Funny how time races on." While closing the year book,my friend would sigh"Those days are gone." Oh to savor the days back then as seen through the eyes of one Who refuses to store away life while knowing those days are gone. "Funny how time seems to fly." I say to myself as an assortment of memories parade by my minds eye. With as many emotions I view those parts of me formed by days gone by. Early in life I looked forward ,now later I watch the parade in my minds eye.
