My Eyes Will Ever
Tip me a wink, don't let my heart sink There's so much passion in the thoughts that I think Pray hold out your hand, help me understand All that your heart wants to find in a man Look deep in my eyes, take full note of my sighs I can promise you nothing if you take these for lies I will seek out your trust, for such is a must No future can be found if merely coupled by lust To be with you is all, my ambitions aren't small I aim to be always here to enthral A journey through life, bound as man and wife Forever faithful no matter what strife The bond must be strong, for a journey so long To hold onto these precepts is the depth of my song I wait now for you, to ponder what's true And linger right here just admiring the view For beauty takes no time, to capture in sweet rhyme I hope my eyes will ever gaze upon thine For you my sweet and lovely Valentine ©Rhumour January 25th 2009
