Yellow Peril
You’re there, right in my face, you’re completely out of place Like a hair found on a steak, you’re a bona fide disgrace You’re an awful apparition and I really want you gone I speak to other people but you’re all they gaze upon I’ve met so many of your kind: and most of them were yella You have no place this close to any halfway decent fella I’ll close my eyes and count to five and you’ll have disappeared Or else I’ll be the worst thing that you ever could have feared I know if you could talk you’d say, “Hey buddy do your worst.” Your pride will come before your fall, for you look fit to burst I don’t need to call anyone to say, “You’d better freeze.” If anyone should come, I’d say that you’re my latest squeeze So nothing you can say is ever gonna make me stop You ain’t no kind of fixture and your brains are gonna pop I have to say I grinned with youthful recall for a bit For at my age it’s rare to find a new uncharted zit
