The eve seems grim as light grows dim, and darkness closes in; while all around without a sound, the eerie night begins. Within a squall the snowflakes fall and gather on the sill; a sign to some of things to come that lie beyond their will. I miss the norm of summer’s morn, of daisies in the field; but don’t look back, you can’t re-track a past that has been sealed.
