These Two Shells
Inspired by the shells on the seashore. These two shells By Michelle Morris 02/01/2023 These two shells May never know each other They may remain so close And yet never touch at all Like two people Who miss their chance at love Wrong decisions in this life Lead to souls that aren't quite fulfilled But, romantic love Isn't the only reason for this life We are here to learn and experience Grow our souls to new heights Like those two shells Quietly sitting on the beach The ocean comes by And allows them to flow Flow with the tides Flow with the wildness around them Flow with the breeze Flow with life and eaze And maybe one day In a special moment Those two shells Might touch And who knows What could happen For anything is possible Like love; like life © Michelle Morris, 2023
